Happy Monday! I am so excited for today’s post! It is my second annual Christmas book post!! I love everything Christmas – decorations, movies, music, and of course books – so this list makes me positively giddy! I have shared some of these books as they are published on Tuesday Book Release Day posts, but they are all together now. This is a long post, but be sure to read until the end for some new children’s Christmas books.

Before we get to the new books, I’d like to remind you of a few old favorites. These might be easier to get at your local library and possibly out in paperback. I love everything Elin Hilderbrand and her Winter Street series is one of my favorites. Over 10 years ago a parent in one of my classes introduced me to Jeff Guinn’s The Santa Chronicles series and I love that one, too!
I don’t want to forget some Christmas books by my favorite authors – Dorothea Benton Frank, Jenny Colgan, Mary Alice Monroe, Mary Kay Andrews, Nancy Thayer, Debbie Macomber, Karen Schaler, and Jenny Hale.
Now that I have shared some of my old favorites with you, let’s get to the new books. I love when my favorite authors write a Christmas book because it usually means they are writing TWO books that year! Here are the 2021 Christmas books I can’t wait to read. I hope you find one to read, too!

I tend to buy books by my favorite authors, but get others from the library. These new books may have a long wait list, but check out the books on my 2020 Christmas Books post because they probably will have a shorter wait. Here’s a fun printable bookmark to use in all of your Christmas books! What books are you looking forward to reading during the rest of 2021? Have a great day full of sunshine and CHRISTMAS books!!
