Christmas Books 2023

Oh, I am so excited for this post! It is finally time for my annual Christmas book list. I love everything there is about Christmas – the lights, the decorations, trees, candles in the windows, cozy clothes and activities, Hallmark movies – and to put all of that in a book is the best! I’ve started reading some Christmas books, but I have a lot more to read this year!

I’ve gathered a list of new books this year that I am looking forward to reading. Some are from favorite authors and others are new to me. Grab your notepad, a fun pen, and get ready to find some fun books to read as you finish out the year. Don’t forget to print out a bookmark, too.

Bright Lights Big Christmas by Mary Kay Andrews

A December to Remember by Jenny Bayliss

Midnight at the Christmas Bookshop by Jenny Colgan

Snowed in for Christmas by Jacqueline Snow

The Wake-Up Call by Beth O’Leary

A Wish For Christmas by Courtney Cole

The Christmas Cupid by Jennifer Joyce

You Make It Feel Like Christmas by Toni Shiloh

It Happened One Christmas by Chantal Guertin

Every Day is Christmas by Karen Schaler

The Twelve Months of Christmas by Sheila Roberts

Three Holidays and a Wedding by Uzma Jalaluddin and Melissa Stapley

Highlands Christmas by Amy Quick Parrish

The Book Club Hotel by Sarah Morgan

Christmas Mad Libs and Would You Rather Book for Kids: Christmas Edition

We’ve been having a lot of fun with Mad Libs and Would You Rathers lately. Your family might enjoy them, too!

I can’t finish my Christmas books post without sharing some of my old favorites. I love the Winter Street series by Elin Hilderbrand. Those four books are just as wonderful as Elin’s summer Nantucket books. I hope to visit Christmas Stroll on Nantucket on year, but until then the books will be just great!

Elin isn’t the only summer author that has written a Christmas book. I love these Christmas books by Dorothea Benton Frank, Nancy Thayer, Mary Kay Andrews, Kristy Woodson Harvey, Jenny Colgan, and Mary Alice Monroe.

Well, are you excited to get reading?? I sure am!! This is my fourth Christmas Book list. If you are having trouble finding this year’s books at the library, check out these lists:
Christmas Books 2022
Christmas Books 2021
Christmas Books 2020
The books from those lists might be easier to find and are just as fabulous! If you need me, I’ll be reading these books for the rest of the year. Have a great day full of sunshine and Christmas books!

Sarah, Thank you so much for this Christmas book list. I’ve been in the mood for a Christmas book, and I think I will start with “A Wish for Christmas”. Thanks too for hosting your super Hello Monday link party! – Patty
