Happy Wednesday! It’s the last Wednesday of the month so I am sharing what we’ve been up to. Let’s get to it!

WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK…

Oh, this is a rough one. It’s a busy week and I should be better prepared for lunch, but I am just winging it.

WHAT I’M LOVING…

Christmas decorations! I have a few things to do outside, but yesterday was too chilly to do it. I love seeing candles in the windows and tree lights!

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO…

We spent Thanksgiving at my parents’ house with my sister, brother-in-law, and niece. It was great to see them for a few days!

WHAT I’M DREADING…

There isn’t much I am dreading right now. I love this time of year with the lights and fun traditions!

I won’t say I am dreading this, but I am a little nervous about Luke’s doctor’s appointment next week. I am hoping the orthopedic says he can get back to some of his activities because he is struggling with this total rest.

WHAT I’M WORKING ON…

Book Fair! It is a good thing I love it because it is pretty much running my world right now. Thank you for all your well wishes about the missing books on Monday. It took more time on the phone and emailing on Monday, but the problem is resolved. The case arrived Monday and eight boxes of books arrived Tuesday. I am totally set up and ready for students to start shopping today.

WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT…

I am heading back to JMU this weekend to see some of my college roommates! I can’t wait!

Jack made the high school swim team. He has his first meet soon and I am excited for him!

WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING…

I am reading Christmas books! I shared the list of books I want to read yesterday. There are some great books to check out!

Right now I am reading Midnight at the Christmas Bookshop by Jenny Colgan and I am loving revisiting these characters. I am also reading Reign by Katharine McGee. I am a little sad to finish the final book in the series!

I am watching two things right now. We watch Hallmark and Christmas movies when I get to pick what’s on tv and we watch sports when I don’t.

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO…

Christmas music, of course!

WHAT I’M WEARING…

I switched from my Thanksgiving shoes to my Christmas shoes last weekend. I’ve been wearing my bookish tshirts this week for Book Fair.

WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND…

I am getting together with my college roommates and visiting JMU! I am also going to try to visit Ikea to pick up a few bookshelves for our library.

WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH…

If Luke is cleared to swim, both boys have a swim meet in Virginia.

I am going to two concerts with my dad, and maybe my mom. Peter Mayer and Mac McAnally, of Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band, are coming to town separately and we are excited to go. It’s going to be a wild week with two weeknight concerts, but it will be worth it!

We sure did have a great November. I am getting ready for a fabulous December! It’s going to be busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!
