Happy Wednesday! It’s the last Wednesday of the month so I am linking up with Sheaffer and Shay to share what we’ve been up to. I cannot believe it is already the last Wednesday of November! Holy moly this month FLEW!! Let’s get to it!

WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK…

WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT…
Turkey trots!! This is one of the first years I am not running an official turkey trot. I love the boys sweet faces with their medals! From strollers to racing with me, turkey trots are so much fun!

WHAT I’M LOVING…
Little hints of Christmas! I fell in love with these Christmas tumblers and started using them a little early. My friend Holly says to follow the joy, so I am going for it!

This pencil Christmas tree all lit up brings me so much joy!

We pulled bread for stuffing last weekend with my mom. I love traditions like that because they bring back so many memories. The kids helped a little, too!
WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO…
We have been doing all the sports. The kids have had a swim meet, soccer tournament, or basketball tournament every weekend for four weekends in a row. Everyone has done really well, but I am ready for a weekend at home with regular practices or games.

WHAT I’M DREADING…
Absolutely nothing! I know we will be busy and there is a lot to do, but I’m looking forward to it all!
WHAT I’M WORKING ON…
I need to get started working on a graduate class that I am taking. I was hoping to do it in November but things got busy. I know it sounds ridiculous to think December will be any better, but I need to get it done!
WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT…
ALL THINGS CHRISTMAS!!

I am also really excited about school next week. The book fair delivery truck came yesterday and we are setting everything up today. Kids and families can start browsing and shopping next week. I love the book fair! It can be a little stressful but the kids’ and parents’ excitement makes it all worth it!

WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING…
I am pretty exclusively watching Hallmark movies these days. I recorded Nantucket Noel and watched it last night. 😍

You can always see what I’m reading on my Books 2021 page. I’m on my second Christmas book of the year. I read The Holiday Swap and now I’m reading Christmas at Peachtree Bluff. Two great books!

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO…
It’s taking everything I have to not play constant Christmas music yet. I will soon! I’ve been listening to Zac Brown, Jimmy Buffet, Billy Joel, and John Mellencamp lately.
WHAT I’M WEARING…
I’ve been wearing my turkey earrings as much as possible!

This might not be wearing, technically, but I have been using Olive & June nail polish a bunch. I gifted it to some friends as part of my favorite things earlier this month. I am excited to wear a new reddish color for Thanksgiving!

WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND…
Jack is playing in a basketball tournament. Luke and I are going to cheer him on and then go to the Electric Lights parade on Saturday. I don’t think we have any plans on Sunday besides finishing up a bunch of Christmas decorating.

WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH…
All things Christmas! I have a few new things planned to celebrate Christmas and we’ll revisit some of our old favorites.
WHAT ELSE IS NEW…
I think that’s all there is to share. In the next week or so I’ll be sharing a recap of our favorite things party. I found a lot of cool favorite things from my girlfriends.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow! I may have a blog post on Friday, but I’m not sure. Either way have a great day/Thanksgiving/weekend full of sunshine and books!

Happy Happy Thanksgiving Sarah!! I blogged about Turkey Trots today too- we are so alike! Thank you for the shout out- love it- glad you are following the joy AND using festive SWIG cups to make it happen 🙂
I love book fairs! Your family photo with the boys in red sweaters is GREAT! Lovin’ the Christmas tumblers! Happy Thanksgiving!
I have the same two books! Love the polish! Is Olive and June really worth the hype? Happy Thanksgiving!
I always loved book fair week; even as a parent or a teacher I got just as excited as when I was a kid!
Hope you have a great Thanksgiving weekend! I will have to check out those books… Definitely in the mood for something “Christmasy”.
I am going to check out The Holiday Swap! And all the best getting through book fair week — we don’t have anything like that in Canada and I think it would be so much fun!
I feel like this month went by quickly too! I love the festive cups and your earrings. I always loved the book fair and my kids did too during their elementary years. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving!
