Summer Beach Reads 2025

Are you as excited as I am?? It’s the Summer Beach Reads 2025 post!! I am very excited about the books on this list! This year I’ve included new books from my favorite authors and new to the list authors. Most of the books are easy beach reads, but there are a few mysteries here. I have 23 books for you this year. I usually read 2-3 books a week in the summer, so I am hoping to read all of these between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Grab a good pen and a fun notepad and let’s dive into the list!

I call these books my Summer Beach Reads because that is my all-time favorite place to read.

Do not think I limit myself to beach reading exclusively! I will read them anywhere. I read at the pool,

on my deck,

in bed when I wake up and before I fall asleep,

in the car, on the couch, on a sideline waiting for a game to start, or anywhere else I have a few moments to read. I am sharing the books in the order they are published. A few are already out, two are being published next week, and the rest will fill up your summer reading list as the weeks go on.

Are you still with me? Are you so excited for you summer reading? I sure hope so! After the my list got so long last year, I decided to let you judge your books by the cover. Including the publisher’s description makes the posts incredibly long with 23 books. I will definitely share more about these books as I read them and the summer goes on, so keep checking back.

I’ve ordered and pre-ordered a few of these books and put myself on the holds list at the library for others. Some of the holds lines are quite long at my library, so if you are looking for Summer Beach Reads that might be more available, check out my previous Summer Beach Reads lists:

I want to remind you to check in with your local bookstores and library throughout the summer. You know I love mine and they have some great things coming up. I am going to see Mary Alice Monroe tonight and we have quite a few authors coming through town this summer. We always sign up for the Summer Reading Program at our public library. The librarians and booksellers are incredible resources to help you find books that are just right for you.

What are you looking forward to reading this summer? Do you have any books on your TBR that I missed? I’d love to hear about them. I have One Golden Summer and Where the Rivers Merge ready to go on my kindle! Let’s be friends on Goodreads. I am Sarah Parsons and my picture is me sitting on the beach reading. Have a great day full of sunshine and SUMMER BEACH books!

I am on the waiting list for Atmosphere. I was on the list for Emily Henry’s latest but removed myself after reading mixed reviews. Anxious to see how you like it!
