Let’s Look – 10/11/23

Happy Wednesday! This is one of my favorite linkups of the month because I am so curious about how other people do things. I try to find great systems for organizing, planning, and creating routines but I know there is always room for improvement.

Linking up with Erika and Shay

In January, we talked about scheduling and organizing a busy family.

In February, we talked about our medicine cabinets.

In March, we are talking about our all time favorite Amazon finds.

I shared a quick pet peeve in April.

In May, I shared my morning routine.

In July, I shared my favorite new summer finds.

In August, I shared my worst habits.

In September, I shared my evening routine.

This month I am sharing my biggest fear. Of course, I fear something terrible happening to a family member or friend – sickness, catastrophe, etc. – or major world disasters, but I think everyone has those fears. Today I am sharing the one thing that will absolutely stop me in my tracks. My family knows about it. My friends at the pool know about it. My coworkers know about it. Many of my students know about it. Pretty much everyone I know finds out at some point.

Alright, here we go. I actually cannot believe that I am going to put this picture on my blog for all eternity. Please know the sacrifice I am making by uploading a picture. It will stare back at me every time I add a picture to a blog post. I also had to search for the picture online which means I saw way more than just this one picture. I am taking deep breaths over here folks…

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I know they seem harmless but I am terrified of frogs! Toads, too. My heart rate is skyrocketing just looking at this picture from the National Park Service’s website. They are unpredictable, camouflage themselves, and just make me nervous.

If you are with me, afraid of frogs, I am truly sorry for this awful photo. Here’s a palate cleanser for you!

Ok, now that’s better! May your day be as peaceful as this sunrise at the sea. What are you afraid of? I’m going to imagine I am right there on that beach all day today if you’d like to join me. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

Lol ! Thanks for sharing. I’d say I don’t love things that hop. I can handle a spider that crawls slowly, but I hate a cricket! Too unpredictable with all that hopping. Haha
