Summer Beach Reads 2026

Hello there readers!! I am so excited for today’s post. I love summer reading and the books on this Summer Beach Reads list are the books I am most excited about. This year there are authors that have been on multiple Summer Beach Reads lists and there are new to the list authors. There are books that I have already read and books I cannot wait to read. I always select one book to be my first official book of summer. This year it is Road Trip by Mary Kay Andrews.

I know that I call these books summer beach reads, but I will read them ANYWHERE!! Of course I read them on the beach.

I will also do a lot of reading at the pool!

I will read late into the night and early in the morning!

I will read anywhere! I love that summer affords me so much more time to read, especially with books as wonderful as these!

If you are still here 29 books later, thank you!! I know I won’t get to read all 29 of these this summer, but I am going to try my best. Just like last year, I decided to let you judge your books by the cover. Including the publisher’s description makes the posts incredibly long with 29 books. I will definitely share more about these books as I read them and the summer goes on, so keep checking back.

I have read a few of these books already (loved them!) and I have a bunch on my kindle from NetGalley. I am purchasing a few and have joined the holds list at my library for some others. Those holds lists can be long for the new releases, so you might want to check out my previous Summer Beach Reads lists for great books with shorter waits at your library:
