Happy Monday! I am so excited for this post! I love everything about Christmas! I love the lights! I love the decorations! I love the family time! I love the BOOKS!! I love sharing the books with you!

Are you ready? I have a big list of new Christmas books for you, so grab a pencil and notepad, your Goodreads account, you library holds list, or your Amazon account because here we go! I’ve included a note when I have one to share about each book. Click on the title for the official publisher’s description.
The Secret Christmas Library by Jenny Colgan

Jenny Colgan books are always a must read for me. I love her Christmas books. They are always so cozy and share the Christmas spirit!
I’ll be Home for Christmas by Jenny Bayliss

Jenny Bayliss is another Christmas favorite! I’ve read every single Christmas book she’s written and I love them all! Can’t wait for this one!
Christmas at the Ranch by Julia McKay

I loved The Holiday Honeymoon Switch last year and I can’t wait to read this one. I love the books she writes at Marissa Stapely, too!
A Ferry Merry Christmas by Debbie Macomber

Debbie Macomber’s books read like a Hallmark movie and those are my favorites!
Holly and Nick Hate Christmas by Betsy St. Amant

Holly and Nick hate Christmas and get set up on by Holly’s brother at Christmastime. That sounds fun, but add in a big family story and I can’t wait to read it!
It Had to be Yule by Farrah Jane

This is the second book in the Dearing Creek series, but it looks like you can read it first and still have a great Christmas read.
A Merry Little Lie by Sarah Morgan

Each character is hiding something and maybe telling merry little lies as they all return home for family holidays. I think that sounds so fun! This book keeps tricking me because it was published in the UK as All Together for Christmas. We’ll have to decide which title is a better fit after we read it.
Grace and Henry’s Holiday Movie Marathon by Matthew Norman

I’ve never read a Matthew Norman book, but they take place in Baltimore. So close to home! I’ll be reading and looking for landmarks I recognize.
The Gingerbread Bakery by Laurie Gilmore

Heading back to Dream Harbor for the fifth installment in the series. A small town Christmas sounds absolutely wonderful!
Yours for the Season by Emily Stone

I am going to give Emily Stone one more chance here. Every year I think her books are winter books not Christmas books, but the description sounds like Christmas this year. Fingers crossed…
Yours for the Season by Uzma Jalaluddin

Another Yours for the Season! I really liked Uzma’s book last year and am looking forward to this one!
Merry Christmas, You Filthy Animal by Meghan Quinn

I love how Meghan Quinn uses iconic Christmas movie quotes as her titles. How beautiful are the sprayed pages??
Merrily Ever After by Catherine Walsh

It looks like this one is only available on Kindle. Catherine Walsh brings favorite characters from her other books together in four short Christmas stories.
The Eight Heartbreaks of Hanukkah by Jean Meltzer

I know this is a Christmas book list, but I cannot leave out Jean Meltzer the queen of Hanukkah books!
Christmas with the Queen by Hazel Gaynor and Heather Webb (2024)

I know this book came out last year, but I didn’t catch it. This book about a reporter and a chef that are old friends cross paths each year as they are taking part of the Sandringham Christmas celebrations with Queen Elizabeth II in the 1950s.

That’s my list of 2025 Christmas books! Did you find one to add to your TBR? I hope so! Don’t forget I have five more lists of great christmas books!
