I am loving…

Swim season! The boys have another swim meet this weekend and it’s one of my favorite meets. We stay in a hotel and make a weekend out of it.

Getting back into the habit of painting my nails at night. I used Olive and June’s Cozy Up on Wednesday and changed to Cheers with a sparkle top coat on Sunday night.

This might sound a little gross, but I am loving blowing my nose! I haven’t been able to blow it for a few weeks and the sniffing was getting really old! I’ve been having frequent nosebleeds since before Labor Day and finally went to the ENT. I had a chemical cauterization and that didn’t work as well as we’d hoped so I had an electric cauterization 2 weeks later. Unfortunately, you can’t blow your nose for a week after the procedure. When the first one didn’t work, I ended up going a few weeks without blowing my nose. I never thought I’d be so happy to blow my nose again!

I am hoping…

To read a bunch this month. There are so many Christmas books I want to read and I hope I have time to read them!

For a two hour delay today. As I am typing this Monday night, we already have a two hour delay with re-evaluation. I am not ready to use a snow day yet this year. And it’s Book Fair so it makes my week smoother if we go to school. I’ll definitely enjoy some couch time with the Today show before I go to school.

I am doing…

An instagram workout that kicked my booty! My friend Shannon shared it with me and it was great.

The meal planning and grocery ordering. I joined Walmart+ last month for a month and I’ve loved the convenience of it. Last year it didn’t feel like a good fit for us, but I may keep it for another month or so this year. I do love that groceries show up on my porch when I am arriving home or at the end of a long day. It’s so easy!

Apparently, I am a doer getting things done like the Home Depot slogan. I was there three times last week. More saving, more doing…

I am wearing…

Warm clothes and coats! It is cold cold! I am wearing a hat and gloves when I am outside. I am wearing sweaters and sweatshirts inside. I am hoping to wear some festive shirts this week and month! I wore this sweater for the first time on Saturday.

I ordered these festive shoelaces a few weeks ago and I love them! They do take a little while to ship, so order now if you want to wear them this season. The green ones don’t take quite as long.

I pulled my Christmas tub out from under the bed and started wearing my holiday shirts yesterday. This shirt has the entire story of A Christmas Carol printed on it in the design. I started wearing my Brooks Christmas sneakers, too!

I love my bracelets from Kathryn Robnett, especially at the holidays. I put these three together for a little Christmas spirit on my wrist.

I am seeing…

All the lights! I have lights on our deck, lights on the deck off the mudroom, lights on cemetary fence in the back, candles in the windows, lights on all the trees, lights in the mudroom, lights on the front of the house. If it sits still for long enough, I will put lights on it in December!

All the books! I shared yesterday that the Book Fair is here. So we have a ton of Scholastic books and our regular library books are coming back too. There are books everywhere!
