Happy Wednesday! It’s the first Wednesday of the month and I am linking up with Jennifer to share five things I am currently doing. Each month we share five different things and I think it’s a fun way to think about what’s going on.

I am loving…
Trick-or-treating!! I always walk around with the boys but not this year! I handed out candy this year and it was so fun! I teach the kids in my neighborhood so I got to see them all dressed up. I also got to see all the middle and high schoolers I taught. It was just the best!

I am (impulse) buying…
A half price pastel rainbow wig while picking up last minute back up candy for Halloween! I paid $3 and it was worth every penny.

Who wore it better???

I am preparing…
For a few busy weekends in a row! We have 2 swim meets and a soccer game this weekend. A soccer tournament and a girls’ trip next weekend. Then 2 swim meets the next weekend. Thanksgiving weekend. A girls’ weekend and a work event. Then a travel swim meet. Then 2 swim meets and a holiday party. And 2 weeks of book fair and some travel for Jeff in there, too! I know the only way this is going to work is with many lists, meal planning, and grocery pickup working together!
I am excited for…
Girls’ weekends!! I have two girls’ weekends coming up in the next month or so and I am excited. I’m heading to two fabulous places – the beach and back to JMU!!

I am planning…
My reading list for the rest of the year! I have Christmas books, Hanukkah books, a Summer Beach Read, and a few holds coming in from the library. I am creating my list and going to try to get back to devoting more time to reading each week. All those swim meets give me a lot of reading time, which should help!

What are you currently doing? Even though we are going to be busy on the weekends, our weekdays should be a little more routine and have less running around. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

Halloween sounds fun and I love that rainbow wig! It does sound like you have a lot of busy weekends coming up but I know you are a pro at juggling it all by now.
I love your wig! I’m going to read about your Christmas books now, because tis the season for me! Thanks for sharing that and for linking up…sorry about the late link party. It’s open now!
Love the wig and your Halloween night sounded perfect! Yeah for girls weekends coming up 🙂
That wig is AWESOME! What a fun, frugal find! Hope you have a good week!
The wig is fun! That’s so cool that you see so many students. Your girls trips sound fun!
What a fun wig! Those Advent calendars in the last photo look interesting – what do you put in them?
I love the wig! Can’t wait to hear what Channukah books you find!
