Happy Friday! This has been a great week with quite a few favorites. Let’s get to them!
Favorite 1: BOOK FAIR!! This has been a big part of my week. I had every single kid in the school in the library for the Book Fair on Monday and Tuesday. Then, I worked 12 hours on Wednesday for our conference night Book Fair shopping night. I’m doing another 12 hours today for our big family shopping night. It makes for a busy week, but it is so worth it to see how excited the kids are when they come into the library. There is pure joy on the kids’ faces to see the Book Fair set up and they are so excited to read their books when they do get them!
Jack and Luke both asked for a book from my school’s Book Fair. I brought them home yesterday afternoon. As soon as the sun went down and the boys came in, they picked those books up and dove right in!
Favorite 2: RED COAT!! I have been watching this coat for a year or more. I love it, but I didn’t think I would wear it enough to pay full price. When it was on sale for half price, I clicked Buy Now and I am so glad I did! It’s a perfect coat for bus duty and running around town.
Favorite 3: SWIG!! It is no secret that I love Swig tumblers. They keep drinks hot or cold for a really long time. Last year I got a few Christmas tumblers and I added one or two new ones this year, too! They are the best and so festive!
Favorite 4: SNOWMAN! I found a new spot for our inflatable snowman and am so glad he’s back! The wind whipping across the front of our house made it tricky to keep him up. We took out some bushes on the side of our house last summer and now it’s the perfect spot for the snowman!
Favorite 5: ADVENT CALENDARS! One of my friends went to Virginia to get the Costco wine advent calendars in September and I got two, one for me and one for my mom. I’ve been keeping it in my cool basement and brought it up tonight. Each day has a 2 glass bottle of wine. I’m excited about it, but a little nervous that I won’t keep up. I only had time for one glass of wine last night, so I’m already behind!
Favorite 6: CHRISTMAS BOOKS!! I have been reading Christmas books for a week or so and I’m loving the two I’m reading now. I shared the books I am excited to read early this week. Be sure to check it out! My 2021 Christmas Books List and my 2020 Christmas Books List also have great options!
Favorite 7: OUTFITS! I’ve had fun getting dressed this week. I’ve been casual but wearing fun reading and holiday shirts.

What’s Up Wednesday
The boys and I are all packed and ready for our weekend. They were invited to swim in a meet in Virginia and we are spending the night. We’re actually hitting the road as soon as my Book Fair night is over. Jeff has to work this weekend so he’s staying home and holding down the fort. I have a few books, our Christmas cards, and a few other things to keep me busy in the stands cheering on the boys. Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!

I want the wine advent calendar next year! I wouldn’t be able to keep up, either! Ha! That sounds funny but it’s true. Your outfits are perfect for this time of year. Love the red coat!
