Happy Wednesday! It’s the last Wednesday of the month so I am sharing what we’ve been up to. Let’s get to it!
WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK…

This is not my best planning but this week has been crazy! We’ve had extra soccer practices added same day, extra meetings, a few late work nights, and all the regular holiday extras starting. Everyone will have food for all of the meals and that’s good enough some weeks.

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO…
We had a great Thanksgiving!

On Friday morning, I started decorating for Christmas.

I decided to bring back our snowman inflatable. We haven’t put him up for a few years because it blows away when it gets windy. I moved the snowman to the side of the house and anchored him well. I’m hoping he stays put this year!

We had our annual dinner with my parents while watching the parade! Appetizers, dinner, and the company were fabulous!

WHAT I’M DREADING…
Well, as I type this late on Tuesday night, the only thing I am really dreading is my 4:55 am alarm tomorrow morning. I know it will feel good to get a workout in before a 12 hour day at school, but right now it doesn’t sound so good.
WHAT I’M WORKING ON…
THE BOOK FAIR! I unpacked our Book Fair last Wednesday and every single student in my school has visited to make a wish list on Monday and Tuesday. It made for two very busy days, but the kids were so excited! I have five more days of Book Fair shopping and that is taking up most of my work days for the next week or so.

WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT…
We have a day trip planned next week and I cannot wait!! Here’s a hint: I am kicking high with excitement!!
I am going to see some of my college roommates this month! I haven’t seen two of them in a year and it’s going to be so good to see them!!
WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING…
I am watching and reading everything Christmas! I’ve already watched White Christmas and Christmas Vacation. Whenever I turn the tv on, it’s Hallmark Countdown to Christmas.
I’m reading all Christmas books, too! I shared my 2022 Christmas Book Recommendations. Be sure to check it out! My 2021 post and 2020 post are both full of great Christmas book options!

Today, I am reading A Magical New York Christmas by Anita Hughes and Meet Me Under the Mistletoe by Jenny Bayliss. I don’t usually read two fiction books at the same time, but I got the paperback New York Christmas from the library and I like to have a book going on my kindle so I can read with the lights out as I fall asleep and in the middle of the night.

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO…
I’ll give you one guess…
You’re right!! Christmas music!
WHAT I’M WEARING…
Luke is my personal photographer and he’s been great about taking my outfit picture each day.

WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND…
The boys and I are headed out of town for a swim meet. They are both excited to swim! We are staying in a hotel which adds an extra layer of fun! I’m hoping to find a fun Christmas lights display to visit on Saturday evening.
WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH…
Everything Christmas!! I also have a plans with some girlfriends sprinkled throughout the month. I can’t wait to spend some good time with good friends! I am looking forward to good family time, too! Hopefully Jeff and I can sneak away for a date afternoon or two!
So that’s what we’ve been up to! I’ll be back on Friday. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

Oh I love all of the Christmas goodness in this post! That snowman inflatable is adorable! I can’t believe you are doing to see the Rockettes- I know you will LOVE it- we certainly did- check out A Holiday Spectacular on Hallmark- new movie for 2022 and it is based on the Rockettes- I LOVED it 🙂
I was so excited to watch it!! Wasn’t the hallmark movie so fun??
Enjoy the Rockettes! Wave high to the bears…they are special friends of ours 🥰
You’ve had such a great month. Luke is doing a great job as your photographer. When you mention the book fair, it always makes me smile. I always loved the book fair and my kids did too! I’m sure it’s so much work but bring so much joy to your kiddos. I love the inflatable snowman! Hopefully, he stays put 🙂
Love your Gobble Gobble Gobble shirt! 🙂
Thank you!!
🙂
Book fair time was always my favorite; even as a teacher I found all those books irresistible! It sounds like you are going to have a wonderful December too with lots of holiday fun.
Are you going to see the Rockette’s? How wonderful. We were talking at Thanksgiving about going to NYC next December!
