Happy Friday! This week was our first mostly normal summer week and it was great! I have some good favorites so let’s get to it!

Favorite 1: SWIMMING! I love everything about swimming and this week was no different. Last night, the boys swam in our county invitational. It is a fun meet because they swim with their friends from winter swim, school, and other sports. I get to see some of my swimming friends, work friends, and friends from around town. One of Jack’s buddies from winter swim came with signs to cheer friends on. It was a great surprise!

With the meet Thursday night, practice attendance was way down. In fact when I went back at the end of practice, there were only two swimmers there. These guys!

Favorite 2: FRIENDS! Jack had some friends sleepover after the meet and Luke schooled them in Mario Kart. They all winter swim together and its fun to see Luke hang with the big boys.

Favorite 3: SNOWBALLS! We have a snowball stand within walking distance from our house and have never been. The hot days this week were perfect to give it a try. It was refreshing and we will definitely be back to Ice Planet!

Favorite 4: PEDICURE!! I haven’t gotten a pedicure in a very long time, but I got one this week. I used my Mother’s Day gift card and it was such a treat!

Favorite 5: BRACELETS! It is no secret that I love bracelets and I found the cutest bracelet sets at the kids’ hair salon. They are locally made and I love them. How cute is this shine set?

Favorite 6: TRACK!! Luke and I have been hitting the track every morning that we can. He’s running a couple miles and I am walking until he’s done. We’ve been there pretty early to beat the heat.

Favorite 7: SKORT! I love skorts, but didn’t have a red one. My friend Kelly had this on at our swim meet last week and I hit add to cart. It’s so comfy and has cute pleats in the back. It did not go on sale for Prime Day, but it’s worth it anyway.

Favorite 8: SPORTS! I got to hang at the golf course with Jack for a few hours this week. He’s working hard and I love watching him. Luke had a training with his soccer coach and it started pouring with about 15 minutes left. They kept playing and he was absolutely soaked when he got in the car.

Favorite 9: BOOKS! I started my July Reading Update post and I realized I’ve read a lot of great books already. I stopped in at the library and picked up two more that I am excited about. I love reading, and summer reading is even better!

I am so excited for this weekend! We are getting together with some friends tonight. After the swim meet, I am getting together with some girlfriends. And, we have our first adult social event of the year at the pool on Saturday night. I’m hoping to spend some time at the pool today. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!
