Happy Wednesday! I am excited to share some fun items with you today! A few weeks ago, I got together with some friends and we had a Favorite Things party. I love Favorite Things parties! Every time I think about Favorite Things parties, I hear Julie Andrews singing “These are a few of my favorite things…” in my head. I’m still not sure why the radio stations play that around Christmas, but it has been a good reminder to share the gifts from our Favorite Things party!

As I was going back to link to all of my other Favorite Things party posts, I realized that I never share our items from last year! So today I have the fun gifts from our 2020 and 2021 Favorite Things parties.

Last year was the 6th Favorite Things party I attended. Here’s how great they looked before we started. 😍

That year my friends shared an anger journal to write down the things that make you mad (it really helps to get those things off my brain), a bracelet, sage to clear the house, a cute mug with everything we needed to make a medicine ball tea, color street nail polish stickers, honey trap lip balm, and three fun t-shirts.

I gave everyone a pair of Cora’s Den Christmas lights earrings and a personalized book from Elin Hilderbrand. We call our text group the Aca-Awesome group in a nod to Pitch Perfect, so I had Elin sign them to an aca-awesome lady. Katie from Cora’s Den is so great to work with, especially when I order a large quantity of one thing. You can use code SUNSHINEANDBOOKS10 if you are ordering. I ordered the books from Mitchell’s Book Corner in Nantucket. They are also so great to work with!

Favorite Things party number 7 was full of great finds with the same great friends! Again, we each bought seven of our favorite things, so everyone got one of everything. I loved all the choices this year!

I had three favorite things. I shared my new favorite seasoning from Trader Joe’s – citrusy garlic. I use it on meat and veggies. I love it so much! I also shared my new favorite nail polish in the best color! I have been on the hunt for a very pale opaque pink for years. I finally find it when Olive & June released Pink Sands. I also love the Olive & June top coat. It keeps my polish chip free and so shiny!

Sarah shared really soft socks and Hon’s Honey products. The products are made by women trying to get back on their feet and are wonderful.

Jamie gave us each different cookbooks that fit our personalities. I got Ina Garten and love it!

Sam gave us these great shower caps for keeping hair dry in the shower and for keeping all the moisture of a hair mask in.

Julie shared these wonderful smelling soaps in a cute wooden bowl to keep by our beds and smell as we wake up. They really wake me up and start my day on the right foot.

Lindsay gave us this fun ornament and a bracelet that you put essential oils on.

Kara gave us each a beautiful bracelet that said Friends are the family you choose on the inside.

Kerry gave us The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse by Charlie Mackery and selected quotes that reminded her of each one of us.
