Let’s Look – 7/14/21

Happy Wednesday! I can’t believe we are halfway through another summer week! Yikes, it’s going so fast! Slow down summer! I’m linking up with Shay and Erika today for Let’s Look.

In January, I shared my favorite mugs. In February, I shared my love language. In March, I shared my perfect night in. In April, I shared my fridge and pantry organization. In May, I shared our outdoor organization. In June, I shared our summer fun list.

This month they are talking bathroom organization, but mine is pretty boring. I have these three glass canisters that I love. One has cotton balls and cotton pads, one has Qtips, and the third has hair ties.

Above those three canisters, I have my sunshine gallery. I love this print from Fellow Flowers. It’s such a great reminder to start each day. I surrounded it with some of my favorite sunshine pictures – our family at the beach, Jeff and me in Aruba, the Smoky Mountains, and the boys and me in Hilton Head.

I have this medium sized plastic bin that I keep the products I use every day. It’s easy to store under my sink and pull up to the counter when I need it in the morning or at night.

See, boring! So, I’m going to share my skin care routine, which I use in my bathroom. A year ago I tried Beautycounter and signed up as a consultant. To be honest, I was looking for a regime in and I wanted the discount. One year later, I am so happy I did it. I love the products I use, even the ones I don’t use every day. Here are my favorites.

I use these two, cleanser and toner, in the morning and at night.

Occasionally, I use this cleanser in the evenings. It is so gentle and leaves my skin feeling so clean.

I follow them up with a serum, vitamin c in the morning and moisturizing in the evening.

And then I moisturize. How easy is that? It’s so quick and my skin feel so much better for it. In fact, I had my very first facial yesterday and the aesthetician commented that my skin was in great shape, especially given the amount of sun it gets.

I don’t use these two every day, but I do love them when I use them. I use the peel a few times a week to keep my skin fresh. I use the facial oil after dermaplaning and it is the perfect way to keep that new skin glowing.

Beautycounter shares these two as a dream team. I recently did a 10 day challenge using the vitamin c serum in the morning and the resurfacing peel at night for 10 days straight. My skin did feel glow-ier and smoother after 10 days. I wouldn’t do it all the time, but it is a great refresher every few months.

I found this at Trader Joe’s after Holly mentioned it and I love the body butter. My arms and legs are never dry when I use this consistently.

The grapefruit was a seasonal product so I picked up the coconut recently. We love this one, too!

This duo is keeping the Parsons family from having any dry skin after all day in the sun and pool.

These products all work together to make my skin its best. I keep them in my unsophisticated bathroom bin to keep them accessible and easy to use. If you have any questions about Beautycounter, I’m happy to answer them. Feel free to take a look around the website. I started with the skincare quiz and found products that were just right for my skin.

I’ll be back on Friday with my favorites from the week. Hopefully I’ll have a new book to share with you! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

I love your sunshine gallery wall! What a great way to start the day. A few months ago, I put all of my products in a shower caddy and pull it out when I use them. It’s kept everything in one place and is a life saver
