Happy Tuesday! I’m starting the week with Holly and all of you! Holly and I spent our Monday soaking up the last bit of summer so we’re hosting today. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

First of all, happy birthday to my dad! We are celebrating him tonight but I’ll be thinking about him all day. Have a great day Dad!!

This is going to be a short post because my weekend had three days that looked very similar. It was a great five day week of school and I was ready for a super weekend! On Friday afternoon, I read at the pool for a few minutes after work until Jack and Luke got there after school. Jack had to work and Luke was going to swim practice. After I dropped Luke off, I went to La-Z-Boy to take a look at couches. We need a new couch and they are having a great Labor Day sale. I found a few I liked and then headed to Trader Joe’s for a stock up. I haven’t been there in weeks and we were out of a lot! We played a little Trivial Pursuit after dinner. I love that game!

Summer Sarah made a big appearance this weekend, even though school has started! I slept in a little bit on Saturday morning and then headed to the pool. Jack worked all day. Luke and I hung at the pool all day. Jeff joined us for a bit and then went to work for a football game. Jack, Luke, and I had an all-dayer. If you haven’t heard, I call it an all-dayer when we are at the pool from open to close. We got there for lap swim at 10 and left when the pool closed at 8. It was perfect weather and a fun day!

On Sunday, I was up a little earlier because we had our pool board meeting at 9 am. The board meeting was followed by the annual member meeting. Jeff stayed for a bit before he went to a fantasy football draft. After he left, I had a rotation of friends sit in the lounge chair next to me. It was great to see and catch up with friends. I stayed until 8 pm when the pool closed. All-dayer #2 of the weekend was another fantastic day of weather poolside.

On Monday, we were at the pool for lap swim at 10 am. The boys did their annual cannonball video ❤️ and then Jack went home for a bit. Luke stayed and swam with me. Jeff came over for a while before going home to get a few things done. It was a really crowded day at the pool, almost like church on Christmas. All of the members wanted to get one more swim in on the last day. Jack came in the afternoon to work and finish out the season. Jeff came back for a while in the evening and we shut it down at 7 pm. Luke and I had an all-dayer! It was another perfect day at the pool!

I finished Lost in the Summer of 69 and loved it! I also read a few books for school at the pool this weekend.

I’m pretty sad that the pool is closed for the season, but the countdown is on!

I do want to share this picture with you as a reminder. Labor Day may have passed, the pools may be closed, but September is still summer!

We have a four day week and I am hoping it cruises right along. I am hoping to settle into our school routine and find a good groove with exercise and meal planning. If you blogged today, please link up with us below. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!
