Happy Monday! I’m starting the week with Holly and all of you! I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

I absolutely didn’t mean to skip posting last week, but it happened. I am glad to be back with you today! I’d like to share EIGHT GREAT things with you from the past week.

1- We celebrated my dad’s birthday last week and had a yummy dinner! It was a miracle of schedules and the four of us could be at dinner at the same time with my parents on a weeknight.

2 – I finished my last official summer book and started my first fall themed book last night. I am so excited to read The Thoroughbreds by Elin Hilderbrand. I loved The Academy and can’t wait to see what happens to the Tiffin Academy kids.

3 – I have been texting with my friend and college roommate Val about our Peloton challenge and it’s great to be back to chatting with her every day. I also texted my college roommate Cassidy about something and we’ve talked on the phone twice this week. I love my college roommates and have enjoyed connecting with a few of them recently.

4-I love being outside at the pool all summer. I have decided that I am going to work on spending more time outside at home, too. I spent some time on the deck Friday night reading and enjoying the sunset. It was so lovely. I got back out there on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, too.

5 – This one is a little late, but here are our library stats after one week. I love to see zero overdue and lost books, but I also love seeing hundreds of books in kids’ hands! I love keeping track of how many books we’ve checked out and how many books kids have at any given time.

6 – I’m back to walking with my weighted vest most days. How beautiful was the sun and sky?

7 – I watched Practical Magic this weekend. Can you believe I’ve never seen it? A few years ago, I read it for book club and enjoyed the book. The movie is definitely different, but I thought it was great. I might even go see the second one in the theater.

8 – After ignoring quite a list of things I could be doing at our house when the pool was open, I started to tackle my list this weekend. I didn’t do anything huge, but I did get to check a few items off.
