Hello Tuesday – 9/2/25

Happy Tuesday! I’m starting the week with Holly and all of you! I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday on Tuesday!

Our Labor Day weekend has one theme – pool! Jack worked Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and we joined him. Luke pulled an all-dayer on Saturday and Jack worked all day. Jeff and I left to go to a friend’s house for happy hour. It was fun to see some friends we haven’t seen in a while.

Start of the day 😎

On Sunday, I pulled an all-dayer. Luke joined me an hour after the pool opened and stayed until the pool closed. Jeff had a fantasy football draft with friends and Jack worked most of the day.

New book for Sunday! 😍
All-dayer complete!

On Monday, Luke and I were all-dayers again. Jeff joined us for most of the day and grilled burgers for dinner at the pool. Jack worked all day.

Ready for a great day! 😎

See what I mean? Pool was the name of our game this weekend. I did take a long power walk with my weighted vest and we enjoyed the morning and evening weather at home. I loved having our windows open all day.

Today is my first day with students and I am excited and a little nervous. I love teaching kindergarten, but you never know what you’re going to get with the kindergarten classes the first week of school. With the pool closed and school starting, I think we will get back into that school routine pretty quickly. I do love a routine, so it will be a good thing. I almost called it a fall routine, but fall doesn’t start until Monday, September 22nd. Summer Sarah usually disappears when school starts, but I’m still hanging on to summer in my heart.

Don’t forget to link up below if you blogged today or yesterday. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

What a way to go out! LOVE that you were at your happy place all weekend- I am sure this will go down as one of the best summers for you and your fam. Wishing you an amazing school year and all the patience you need for your Kindergarteners 🙂

Normally I’m ready for fall but I’m hanging on to summer this year too. Sounds like a great relaxed weekend. I taught kindergarten and the first week is all over the place. They come a long way in a year! Happy back to school!
