Hello Monday – 4/29/24

Happy Monday! I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

We had a pretty regular weekend. On Friday evening, Luke had swim practice and then went to Shooting Stars. I stayed and planned to read while he was playing/volunteering but I couldn’t help myself. I talked to a bunch of people and finally pulled my book out with just a few minutes to go. Oops!

Luke had a soccer training session on Saturday and I did read during that before we went to his lacrosse game. Luke’s game was a little rainy but they won and Luke did a great job!

Jack went to the golf course in the morning and spent a good part of the afternoon on his lifeguarding coursework. They have about 8 hours of work to do online before the middle of the week.

Jeff had to work for a bit on Saturday evening and I got some inside things done. I worked on a few blog posts, did some pool work, meal planned, and got ready for next week.

On Sunday morning, Luke had an early soccer game and Jack stayed home to cut the grass.

I met my friend Jodi for a long walk and spent the rest of the day reading in the sunshine. I forget how strong that April sun can be.

We have a full five day week this week, but this meme is making it easy to start the week. In a few days,

I hope you sang that because I sure did! Don’t forget to link up with us below! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

It looks like you did get some sun! We haven’t had much sun yet but I did get a bit of color on our Nashville trip (I hadn’t thought to bring or use any sunscreen!).
