Hello Monday – 4/15/24

Happy Monday! I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

On Friday, Jack and Luke did some of their favorite things. Jack spent the afternoon at the golf course. Luke volunteered with a soccer program for athletes with physical, emotional, or mental special needs. He loves it so much and it is a fabulous program. I dashed around picking up and dropping off kids while Jeff was at work. I wore my Masters quarterzip to stay warm and show my golf spirit.

On Saturday, I got up and gave blood early. It was my best one yet – my iron was high enough, it went quickly, and I didn’t almost pass out. Jeff took Luke to his first lacrosse game of the year and Jack and I met them there after swim practice. His team won and Luke had a blast!

I spent most of the day finishing up the work for the class I was taking and it felt good to hit that submit button one final time. After dinner, Jeff and I met some friends for a drink to celebrate Jamie’s birthday. It was an early night for everyone because Luke had an early soccer game on Sunday.

Also, these bracelets from my friend Amy are so spot on! They matched my Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday outfits without prior planning. These are clearly my colors!

It was chilly but the sun warmed everything up quickly at Luke’s game. He had fun and it’s always good to see Luke playing.

I met my friend Jodi for a walk in the sunshine when we got home and it was a good one. After my walk, I spent the majority of the afternoon right here. I read and relaxed. I finished a few more books that I am reading for school and my first book by Sarah Adams. I loved it! I saw Sarah Adams books on Amy’s blog a while ago and just got around to reading one. Thanks Amy!

The Masters was on tv most of the day. I was cheering for Neal Shipley, JMU alum, who got a bunch of tv time since he was paired with Tiger. As the low amateur, Neal got to go to Butler Cabin for the green jacket ceremony. Amazing! We grilled for dinner and the kids ended the night outside with neighbors.

We have a pretty busy week that ends with a birthday! The weather looks pretty great and I am hoping to spend as much time outside as possible. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!
