Happy Friday! This was another fast week and I have a quick list of favorites for you. Let’s get to them!
Favorite 1: JACK! I went to watch Jack play in his second high school golf match. It was so fun to watch him play. He has great teammates and they have a lot of fun together. I am excited to watch him play all season!
Favorite 2: LUKE! Luke had his first lacrosse practice of the season this week. He had a blast out there on the field. I am so glad his hand is feeling better and he could get out there. The weather was so chilly and windy this week and he powered through four outside practices. His favorite thing this week might be heated seats. They felt really good after practice!
Favorite 3: RUNNING! I ran/walked two times this week while Luke was at practice. It wasn’t fast, but I felt good. I am excited to keep it up.
Favorite 4: SUNSHINE!! That evening sunshine is giving me the energy to power through these busy weeks. Lilly’s advice is always so wise!
We are excited to cheer on JMU tonight in the NCAA tournament. GO DUUUUUKES!! Luke has a lacrosse game, if it doesn’t rain. Jeff and I are getting fancy and heading to a gala at his/Jack’s school on Saturday. I’m hoping to get a few posts done for next week. Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!
I think I might take that advice too literally at times; it was really cold outside yesterday and I was freezing while grocery shopping because I (once again!) left the house without grabbing a coat!
The more we write about it, the faster spring will come right? Ha! So happy to see the boys thriving in their spring sports already 🙂
The golf does sound like fun and the lacrosse too.
We have had some sunshine here this week and it has really motivated me. I can’t wait for more.
