Happy Monday! I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!
We all stayed up SO late on Friday night cheering on JMU in the NCAA tournament. The game didn’t start until almost 10 pm. Our family text was buzzing and we were excited. When the game ended after midnight, it was worth it for such a fun win!
We all slept in on Saturday morning and took it easy. It was a rainy morning, so Luke’s lacrosse game was postponed. The boys both went to swim practice in the afternoon. The weather cleared so Jeff went for a run and I went for a long walk.
On Saturday night, Jeff and I went to the gala at Jeff’s and Jack’s school. The boys went to Jeff’s parents to spend the night and have a boy cousin dinner. The gala was fun and we saw some people I haven’t seen in a while. We went back to Jeff’s parents’ to spend the night afterwards because all of our Sunday plans were near their house.
On Sunday morning, Jeff and Luke went over to school for a big lacrosse game. I went to the Vineyard Vines outlet with Jeff’s mom to pick up a few things for spring and Easter. After a little shopping, I took Jack to the golf course to putt and hit balls. While he was playing, I went for a walk in this beautiful tree lined neighborhood.
We all met up for Luke’s futsal games. He played really well!
Then we raced home to watch the JMU basketball game. They were playing Duke and lost. It was a fun season to follow the Dukes and I am always proud to be a JMU alumni!
After two nights with a bedtime past midnight, I was ready for an early bedtime! We have a short school week this week and I am looking forward to a few days off. Your walk looks beautiful- do you have cherry blossom trees near you like the ones in DC? Can’t wait until everything blooms up here but it won’t be for another month or so. Can’t wait to see what you snagged at Vineyard Vines!
We do have cherry blossom trees too. They are so beautiful! I even love them when the flowers fall because it’s like a big pink carpet! 😍
