Happy Friday! I have a short post for you tonight because this week has been busy!

Favorite 1: CONCERT!! My parents and I went to see Peter Mayer on Wednesday night. It was a great show and I had so much fun with my mom and dad. Peter Mayer is in the Coral Reefer Band, Jimmy Buffet’s band, but he played mostly his Christmas music. He had his son Brendan in the band and it was so much fun. They did play some of Jimmy’s Christmas music and Brendan sang Bubbles Up. It was great to hear Bubbles Up live and hear everything Peter had to say. I am so glad we went!

Favorite 2: LUKE!! Luke was released to start easing back to activity on Monday. I am so happy that he’s able to get back in the pool and back to recess and PE. He was pretty wiped out on Tuesday afternoon starting to get back to everything.

Favorite 3: ROOMMATES!! I shared my weekend with my JMU roommates on Wednesday and that is a favorite. The follow up favorite is that we’ve been texting more than usual this week after catching up in person. We all began to figure out how to be grown ups in our four years of college and those bonds hold strong as we are still figuring it out.

I’ll be poolside all weekend cheering on the boys at their swim meet. I am hoping to get my Christmas cards ready to mail, read a bunch, do a little online shopping, and get ready for the week with a great grocery pickup order. Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!
