Happy Friday! This has been a great week! It has gone quickly and at the same time so slow! Some weeks are just like that! I have a bunch of favorites from the week so let’s get to it!
Favorite 1: BEACH!! I know I was technically there last weekend, but it’s still a favorite. I soaked in the ocean, woke up to the sunrise, and had some great girlfriend time!
Favorite 2: MODERN MEDICINE! Luke is still not back to 100% after hurting his hip a month ago, so he went to the orthopedic this week. The doctor asked for an MRI asap. Luke was a little nervous about it, but did great! His only comment was that the scrubs were way too big and the MRI is loud!
Favorite 3: CARDIGANS!! You can’t be a librarian and not love cardigans. I am pretty sure it is part of every course I took. I found these on a lightning deal this week and I love it! This is caramel and I ordered the red and black already!
Favorite 4: DRESS!! I saw this dress in a Today show article and they called it the most flattering dress for everyone. The headline got me and I ordered the black and this red flowered print. The black one was TERRIBLE!! It was completely see through on the top, so I returned that immediately. The red one was a totally different fabric and oh so comfortable! I got so many compliments when I wore it to school. I wore a cardigan (old and from the Gap) all day and it was perfect.
Favorite 5: BRACELETS!! My outfits this week called for neutral bracelet stacks. How cute are these black and white/clear sets? Both are mixed and matched from Gray Co. She’s having a sale where you can build your own stack with a variety of colors and beads. You should definitely check it out on Instagram!
Favorite 6: BED!! I was changing the sheets yesterday and decided that it was time to break out the Christmas sheets! I know it’s a little early, but the time from Thanksgiving to Christmas goes so fast. I want to enjoy them for a little longer!
Favorite 7: BOOKS! I shared what I’ve been reading on Tuesday and there are some good ones there. I did mention that I was reading four books right now. Well, it’s down to three. Luke and I finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows last night. It was great to listen to the whole thing together, but I am a little sad to be done. It’s such a great series and we had the best time listening!
I have two big things on my to do list this weekend. 1 – Take Jack to his swim meet. 2 – Decorate for Christmas. I have never decorated before Thanksgiving before this year is going to be a bit busier and I am excited to get it out and up! Swim meets mean lots of good reading time and hanging out with other swim parents. I also need to finish up my work for the class I am taking. I am looking forward to all of it! I hope the MRI results help figure out where to go from here! My boys have had a few MRI’s and even standing outside of them I found the machines to be quite loud. That new dress is adorable.

Hayden had an MRI last year, and I’d forgotten how loud they are. I hope Luke is better soon. I hope to get my Christmas stuff organized this weekend…I at least need to take the pumpkins down.
