Happy Monday! I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

We had a good weekend! Jack swam in two swim meets and Luke swam in one. They swam really well and I am excited to see how their seasons continue! I did a lot of this

and this

because they pool where Luke swam on Saturday and Jack swam on Sunday is in the middle of a great park with paved paths. I love when they swim there because I can always go on a lovely walk and there are great outlets on the way home.
Luke was supposed to have a soccer game on Sunday, but the lights on the field weren’t working so it was canceled. His game was at 6:30 pm, which looked and felt like midnight because of daylight saving time ending.
🚨 Rant coming 🚨 I wish we could stop changing the clocks forever. Here are two tweets that sum up my feelings…

Ok, rant over. The great thing about this weekend is that I got some good one-on-one time with Luke and Jack in the car on the way to their swim meets. We also got to see Jeff’s family to celebrate a few family birthdays on Saturday night and it was fun to see everyone.
I am hoping to post Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday this week so be sure to come back. If you blogged, link up with Holly and me below. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

Perfect fall weekend- that park sounds wonderful- so glad you enjoyed
I grew up in a province which didn’t do Daylight Savings, and even though I haven’t lived there in over thirty years, I still think Daylight Savings is dumb and annoying. That looks like a gorgeous place to walk, especially this time of year.
Great the boys are good swimmers. An excellent life skill to have.
That sounds like a wonderful weekend!
