Hello Monday – 8/28/23

Happy Monday! Well, the day has finally come. I am back to work today for teacher week. I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

I didn’t get around to writing my Friday post. Jack started high school on Friday with freshmen orientation. The day started with mass for the kids and parents. It was a great way to start out his high school career.

He went to the football game Friday evening, but Luke wanted to go to a soccer clinic. It is a program for people with any and all types of disabilities. They match soccer players with the athletes for a few hours of fun. It was his first time, but he had the best time and can’t wait to go back next week!

On Saturday, I went to the pool for a bit before Jack’s first water polo scrimmages. He had a great time, scored a goal, and played really well. He’s loving this new sport! We are learning the rules, how to play, and cheering hard!

On Sunday, Luke and I headed to the pool for a kindergarten meet and greet. He did such a great job leading the kindergarteners in fun games and playing with them. We stayed for a little while after the meet and greet was over.

Then we headed to Jack’s team party and parent meeting. He got some water polo swag. They wear robes instead of warmups. I love them!!

Now that sports are picking back up and I am heading back to work, I am loving my bracelet stacks! They are from Gray Co. on Instagram.

I am gearing up for my week of meetings and getting ready for all the students to come to school. Luke is going to have a great week of Camp Gigi Pop. Jack has one day at Camp Gigi Pop and four days of school. We are getting back in the weekday routine right now. I am not sure what my posting schedule will be this week because it takes me a little time to get back in the swing of things. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

Jack is all grown up and looks psyched about high school! Luke is adorbs as always. Good luck getting back into the fall routine- it usually takes me two weeks to adjust and not feel completely exhausted!
