Happy Friday! I cannot believe it is the last Friday of July! That is most definitely not a favorite! July flew by, so August better slam on the brakes and takes its time to pass. We are in full on summer mode and loving every minute of it. Here are some summer favorites from the week.

Favorite 1: TARGET! We went to Target this week for (school supplies – shhh!!) and a bunch of other things. I was so excited to find a 20% off coupon in my Target app for teachers. It was easy to verify myself and have that coupon show right up in the app.

I found these fabulous curtain rods for our office and library. I never replaced the rods when we moved in almost 10 years ago because I couldn’t find something what wowed me like these.

I am still loving this Target skort. I ended up sizing down because I thought it was cut pretty generously.

Favorite 2: GLASSES! My glasses are only a half favorite. I do not love wearing them and I do not love having pink eye, but I am glad I have huge lenses in my glasses so I can see as much as possible. I thought I would be back in my contacts today, but I misread the eye drop bottle. I’ll be back in my favorite contacts tomorrow.

Favorite 3: SWIM!! I know I say it every week, but I love summer swim! The boys had a great summer of swimming and tomorrow is our last meet and team banquet. I’ll miss it in August, but I’m not sure I’ll miss the four trips to the pool before noon each morning. The boys aren’t the only ones that have fun at summer swim. The parents have fun, too!

Favorite 4: BOOKS!! I read a bunch this week and it makes me so happy! I have a few books lined up for next week that I am looking forward to reading! Have you read Hula, On Fire Island, Mrs. Nash’s Ashes, The Soulmate, or The Unsinkable Greta James? I’m not sure which one to read first.

I finished Same Time Next Summer by Annabel Monaghan and loved it. Her novel from last year, Nora Goes Off Script, was so fun to read and so was this one! If you are looking for a light, easy read I recommend both of them!
