Happy Friday! This was a fun summer week. The weather wasn’t perfect, but we made the best of it. As always on Friday, I’m sharing some favorites from the week.
Favorite 1: FAMILY!! We spent a bunch of time with my family last weekend and it was nice to all be together. We got some family pictures taken and I can’t wait to see them!
Annie and I can’t let a visit go without some matching!
Favorite 2: JEFF!! I know he’s family, but we’ve been taking our evening walks together and I love it! We also scored a triple date night with my parents and sister/husband and that was great!
Favorite 3: EXERCISE!! I feel like I am finally in a summer workout routine and it feels great! I ran a little with the boys and I am back to my weight lifting.
Favorite 4: BOOKS! I finished An Island Wedding by Jenny Colgan and started The Lifeguards by Amanda Eyre Ward. I haven’t read Elin’s new book yet because I don’t want it to be over yet. Ridiculous, I know…
Favorite 5: GRIDDLE!! After Amy mentioned it, I finally bought the griddle I’ve been wanting for years. I had a bigger electric skillet that was fine, but it wasn’t what I wanted. I found this at Target and can’t wait to make pancakes this morning!
Favorite 6: GOLF!! I took Luke and our neighbor to the driving range when we picked Jack up on Thursday. I’m getting a little better and the boys had a blast!
Favorite 7: SWIM! We have our first home meet tomorrow and I can’t wait. It’s been so great to compete against teams in person this summer!
Favorite 8: LISTS!! I have been making so many lists this week. Lists for work, home, pool, packing, travel, and maybe groceries. I love making lists!
The weather does not look great for our swim meet on Saturday, but like I said on Wednesday I’m using that rainy day to get some things done. Sunday looks like a perfect pool day and we’ll be there! Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!

My pancakes got a huge deal of approval this morning! And I can make 8-10 at a time. It’s perfect!
Have you added chocolate chips yet? Lol
Absolutely! We use the mini chocolate chips because it spreads out the chocolate over more of the pancake.
Awe! I love all your family get together photos and the matching one with your sister is a framer! I have a griddle and love it…do you know who loves it more? Hadley 😂 she’s a master at making pancakes. I’m about halfway through life guards and loving it. I also started hotel Nantucket because I at least wanted to start it while at the beach. I’m half-way through An Island Wedding right now and it’s so cute! I already blew through Elin’s latest and thought that was pretty good too.
