Happy Monday! I am holding down the fort for Hello Monday this week. Holly is off for the week. We had a busy weekend and I’m sharing some fun from it.

On Friday morning, we woke up to a gorgeous icy day! It was the perfect amount for a two hour delay and we soaked it up!

Jeff and Jack headed to watch a basketball game last night and Luke and I chilled at home. The week was so busy at school so I planned for the week ahead. I also went through some catalogs. I’ve been following one of the Lazy Genius principle of batching and I collect my catalogs all week and sit down to read them all at once. I was a little suprised to see Niki Taylor on the cover of Talbots. I guess I’ve followed her from Seventeen and YM all the way to grown up Talbots.

Before we went to bed, all four of us had fun playing with the Instagram filter for your celebrity twin. Oh my goodness, we were cracking up!!!

On Saturday, Luke and Jack had basketball games at the same place 35 minutes away. Unfortunately they were 4 hours apart so we were back and forth a bunch. We went out to dinner with some friends and it was so yummy! It was FREEZING and I am getting tired of this cold weather. I am so ready for sunny summer!

On Sunday, I went to Ikea with Jamie and her husband to get some furniture and cabinets for their newly finished basement. I picked up a few fun things and got a few ideas of what I’d like to purchase for our house.

I ended up in a Trader Joe’s parking lot without lunch so I popped in to find something. I had this wrap. It was good, but more wrap than chicken salad.

Jack’s basketball team had playoffs for one of their leagues on Sunday afternoon. They won the first game and the second! Champions!! It was so fun to watch Jack play! I haven’t seen as many of Jack’s games as I usually do because they’ve conflicted with Luke’s this year or had a one spectator policy.

We then headed to Luke’s soccer game. Luke was playing a different position than he played in the fall, left back instead of center back. He did so well!! I love to watch him on the field! He is having so much fun and played really well!

When I walked in the door at 7:15, I packed lunches, got ready for the day tomorrow, and watched the last episode of And Just Like That.
We had a great weekend and are ready for a five day week! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

YM magazine. Wow! I remember reading that (& loved Niki Taylor) I’m ready for spring too!
Oh I need that “how long ’til summer” sweater! I am feeling the same way lately. I don’t know who Niki is but I am loving her outfit.
I’m certainly ready for SPRING!
That sweater is PERFECTION- just love it! What did you think of And Just Like That???
