Hello Monday – 1/31/22

Happy Monday! I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

I’m wearing my Valentine’s Day outfits and jewelry now because we are only two weeks away! I love this cardigan! It’s so comfy and warm, perfect for a busy Friday in the library!

I also got some fun mail! How cute is this Olympics pop socket? I am getting so excited! I got this cute Valentine’s Day shirt, too. I am wearing it today.

I found another favorite time to go to the grocery store this weekend! Before this weekend, I loved going to the grocery store first thing on Sunday morning or when the Ravens played. It is always empty. This week, I went on Friday afternoon at 4:30 and it was even better! The shelves were super stocked AND it was empty! I used to do grocery pick up every week, but I haven’t gotten my act together to order ahead lately.

After the boys got home from swim, we all just hung out Friday night. It was supposed to snow and they were calling for a few inches. I woke up early on Saturday morning and was the first one downstairs. I love being the first one because its so cozy and relaxing.

It was snowing when we woke up so these snowman earrings were perfect for cheering my guys on all day!

The boys had basketball games at the same place this weekend. It was great to watch both boys play and they both got a win! Luke and I ran some errands and stopped by my parents for a while after his game. Jeff and Jack went to Jack’s second game of the day.

I finished Lessons by Jenny Colgan. See that bent corner?? I never do that but I fell asleep reading and must have rolled over it in the night Saturday night.

Sunday was another great day! I had a giant to do list for the day and got most of it done! I made a donation run to drop off some more things that I’ve been cleaning out. Jack and Luke are too funny. They both love using their ear buds to listen to music. They also love that they can give Jeff or me one of the ear buds and we can listen together. They were really giggling at the song choices this weekend!

I made a new recipe for dinner and it was delicious! I substituted red pepper flakes for cayenne so it wasn’t too spicy.

I ended the evening using my new foot bath. I got this for Christmas and it was so relaxing. I could’ve read my whole book while my feet soaked all night!

I started two new books on Sunday. I started listening to The Day the World Came to Town by Jim Defede and I started reading In Five Years by Rebecca Searle. My mom’s book club is reading In Five Years and I had requested it from the library a few weeks ago. It became available right after my mom told me her book club was reading it. I’m excited to talk about the book with her.

We have a busy week this week but I headed to bed early last night to be ready for it. I have a busy week planned for Sunshine & Books, too. If everything goes according to plans, I’ll be posting Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. I hope you’ll be back to read. If you blogged today, be sure to link up with Holly and me below. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!
