Happy Monday! I had a wonderful weekend! I got together with some girlfriends and enjoyed their company while enjoying this view!
We went to Ocean City and stayed ocean front. It was so lovely to wake up to the sun rising over the ocean and fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing. This was definitely a different kind of girls weekend. In the past we’ve been out dancing all night, but this year we enjoyed resting and relaxing. I’m sharing some fun moments from the weekend in absolutely no order.
Just four girls who walked home from dinner at 530. 😂
One of my favorite places has a key lime crush and I was so excited to get one (or two…). Jeff and I got the bartender to share the recipe one summer! Jeff makes a great crush, but the original is so so good!
We walked on the beach for over an hour. The weather on Saturday was gorgeous. I walked with my feet in the surf and it felt so good!
Growing up, I remember my mom and her friends having so much fun playing Encore at the pool. For some reason, the game entered my mind and I borrowed it from my parents. We had the best time playing the game
I stopped by and visited one of my favorite beach bars, but it was all shuttered up.
The sunrises and sunsets were so lovely!
We kept the door open, even when it was chilly so the waves crashing was our constant background noise.
Jamie and I did our Fall5 ladies night 5k. We forgot to take a sweetie selfie so here we are ready for dinner with medals. 😉
We also shared our favorite things. I’ll share everyone’s soon. They were so good!! Until then, this is one of my favorite things – sunrise over the ocean in my jammies.
I got home feeling well rested, rejuvenated, and ready to tackle the week. I finished my first Christmas book yesterday!😍 I read The Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox and loved it! And I discovered that Maggie Knox is actually two authors. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!
