Happy Friday! Summer Sarah strikes again! We had a long day yesterday full of golf, work, and soccer and I forgot that today was Friday. So I’m a little late with my favorites today.
Favorite 1: GOLF!! They boys have been at golf camp all week and are having so much fun! Jack has won all 4 days of the competitions and Luke has been his runner up each time. It’s a small group of kids this week and it’s been perfect. They are getting tons of individual attention and coaching.
Jack had his second round of Drive, Chip, and Putt competition on Thursday. He did a great job and we are so proud of him! He didn’t make it on to the next round, only 2 of the 15 did, but he’s already asking when the qualifiers start for next year.
Favorite 2: VIRTUAL RUNS!! Jamie and I did our Fellow Flowers Truth virtual run on Sunday. I really love doing these runs with Jamie! We talk, vent, and attempt to solve all the problems of the world. I always look forward to them!! This time my swag package didn’t arrive until after we ran to I awarded my medal to myself on Tuesday evening when I finished my 4 mile training run.
Here are our previous virtual runs.
You should check out Fellow Flowers. I love the vision they (Mel) has for encouraging women to move their bodies and feel good!
Favorite 3: THE BEACH!! We had another fun beach vacations with the friends. I recapped them on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We had theme days, birthdays, rainy days, exercise, fishing, SUP, and lots of beaching!
That’s it for the week. I’m off to the pool, kid free!! You’ll find me reading in my favorite sunshiny spot today! I’m starting The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren. I’ve heard lots of great things about it and I think it will be the perfect summer read to follow up Lilac Girls by Martha Hall Kelly.
Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!

Have a blast with your pool AND books- sounds perfect! 🙂
I love reading something light and fun after a very emotional book like Lilac girls. Enjoy your kid free day at the pool.
