Happy Monday! I am starting my week with Holly and all of you! I hope you’ll join us for Hello Monday!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I spent my weekend as Summer Sarah and didn’t get my Summer Beach Reads list ready for you like I was hoping. Don’t worry, it’s coming! I promise!

Jeff and Jack spent Friday evening at the golf course and Luke and I spent Friday evening at the pool. It was so lovely! I chatted with friends and read a bit. A few of us got pizza together and stayed until dark.

I must have been pretty tired from last week, because I went to bed before 10 pm and didn’t wake up until my reminder alarm went off at 8:30 am. I did a few things around the house and then Luke and I headed to the pool early to meet a potential swimmer for the swim team test. Jeff joined us a little later and then Jack came to work. Jeff headed home, I left a little while after him, and went back to pick up Luke an hour or so later. I love “family” days at the pool. 😉

Jeff and I are celebrating our anniversary later this week. We are going to spend the day living this wonderful life we built – at a golf tournament with Jack and at swim practice with Luke – so we went out to dinner on Saturday night. We love The Chart House and had a spectacular dinner!

I was up and moving Sunday morning. I took a great walk and got dinner ready in the crockpot. I went over to the pool by myself for another swim team test and settled in for most of the day. Jack came over for a little while to hang out. As he left to go to a friend’s house, Jeff and Luke came to the pool for Luke’s first day as a lifeguard. He did a great job!! It was a great pool day and I caught up with some pool friends I haven’t seen all winter. I read a good bit of my book and did some swim team work, too. Another “family” day at the pool. 😉

This is my last week of school with students and I am excited for all the fun we are going to have. This is a big week for swim team, too, because we have our time trials meet next weekend.
