Happy Monday! I’m starting the week with Holly and all of you! I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

Holy moly! Last week was a DOOZY!! It was pretty good, but wow there was a lot going on. I was out until 8 pm Monday – Friday and then kept going on the weekend. I’m going to run through each day with you to share the good stuff!
MONDAY – Jack had a golf match against one of the two teams that beat them earlier in the season. Great news – they won!

TUESDAY – Luke had his spring band concert and did a great job! His band teacher is retiring after being at the school for 25 years and the tributes to him were wonderful. High school band concerts really are fantastic music!

WEDNESDAY – Back to the golf course for Jack. Another match, another team win!

THURSDAY – I did come home for a little bit in the afternoon to grill some chicken and then met some of Jack’s friend’s moms for happy hour. I haven’t gotten a chance to get to know these ladies because the boys drive themselves most places. It was really nice. I was treated to a beautiful sunset on the way home.

FRIDAY – Back to the golf course for senior night and a rematch against the other team tha tbeat them earlier in the season. This was also the school that Jack went to his freshman and sophomore year, so he was playing against friends. Jack’s team won this time and secured the number one seed going into the playoffs. Jack got to play in a foursome with Aiden, who he played with every match last year. What a great way to end the regular season!

SATURDAY – We had clean up day at the pool and there were so many people there. I am getting excited for the pool to open! Then we headed to the swim team end of season banquet. The kids had a great time with their friends. We found out Luke broke two team records for the relays he swam at states earlier this year. Pretty cool! Jack left with friends and Luke and I headed to his soccer game. I didn’t take any pictures but it was quite a game. It was a good game, but the ref lost control of the game and handed out 1 red card and at least 5 yellow cards. 😬

SUNDAY – Happy Mother’s Day! We took breakfast to Jeff’s mom on Sunday morning. Jeff’s brother, sister, and their families were there, too. We didn’t take a single picture, but had a great time. When we got home, I took a walk in the gorgeous weather and sat on the deck to read a little. My parents came over for dinner and brought crabs. They were so delicious! We played Sequence before and after dinner. It was fun to play and we had some good laughs. It started raining while we were eating outside, but were treated to a beautiful double rainbow afterwards. It was great to celebrate both our moms today!

This week should be a little bit calmer than last. Jack only has one golf match during the week and Luke only has his usual swim and soccer practices. Even though last week was full of fun, I am looking forward to dinner most nights this week. I am also looking forward to more regular workouts this week, too. If you blogged today, be sure to link up with us below! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

Once they start driving, it is hard to get to know the moms, so this is really nice that you got to do the happy hour. It’s Maycember! You are busy!
Though it was crazy it was so full of wonderful things- love it all- the gold- the swimming- the friendships and I am glad you got some reading time in on Mother’s Day 🙂
First thing I have to comment on is the crabs. My favorite!! But our pool is open so there are pros and cons to living anywhere : ) Congrats to your golfer and swimmer. Sounds like a fun busy week! Keep on May-ing! I feel like it should be a verb.
