Happy Monday! I’m starting the week with Holly and all of you! I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

I am still weekending because we have a three day weekend for President’s Day. I have a short post for you today because I am out of town with Jack for a Monday morning college visit and we are hanging out a bit.
On Friday night, Jeff and I went to a concert.

I was so excited to see The Wheeland Brothers. They are one of my favorite bands and I’ve only seen them in concert one time.

They came close by FOUR times last year and I didn’t make it to one single concert. I was super bummed, but determined to get to their next close show. On Friday night, they opened for Niko Moon. They only played for about thirty minutes, but it was so good!!

After their set, they headed back to the merch table and had a little meet and greet. I waited a bit and then decided I wanted to say hi and get a picture with the brothers. They are so nice and such fun. We talked about when/if they were coming back to Maryland or Delaware and they said they are planning to be back. Woohoo!! I hope our summer schedule works to go!

Jeff has a pretty bad cold, but we decided to stick around for Niko Moon. I am so glad we did. He put on a great show and you could tell he was having fun singing. I “studied” for the concert over the past few weeks to make sure I knew enough songs to enjoy the show. Do you ever do that? I love “cramming” for a concert so all the music is fresh in my mind.

We had a good Valentine’s Day, too. I’ll share more about it tomorrow. I’m off to watch the Olympics and NBA all-star game with Jack. If you blogged today, be sure to link up with us below! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

I absolutely do that; and not just for concerts either. I remember having my boys start watching Sesame Street before we went to Sesame Place and watching Disney movies before heading to Walt Disney World and other things like that.
We “studied” for Disney by watching lots of movies, too.
Continue having a great weekend! How fun!
Thanks! I’m sure you remember how the three day weekends can be so fun and go so fast.
Sounds like a blast of a weekend! Enjoy the college visit- so exciting!
Thanks!!
Yay for the 3 day weekend! I hope the college visit is going well.
The concert sounds like great fun!
It was a great weekend and now I am buckling down for 4 full days the rest of the week.
Live music is always a fun night out. I’m not familiar with them but will check out their music. Enjoy your college visit!
Thanks! I think the visit went well.
