Friday Favorites – 12/12/25

Happy Friday! I am so happy to see Friday! This week has been busy with something every night. It was all good stuff, but I am looking forward to a night at home today. I have some favorites to share with you, so let’s get to it!

Linking up with Erika and Andrea

Favorite 1: BOOKS! I have had the pleasure of putting so many books in kids’ hands this week. Today is our 10th and final day of Book Fair and it’s been a good one. I met and got to talk to a bunch of parents when they were volunteering or shopping. Students are picking out great books that they can’t wait to read. With the proceeds, we are going to purchase even more books and other materials for the students. It’s been a great Book Fair!

The Book Fair doesn’t look like this right now. There are so many fewer books after getting all those books in kids’ hands. 😍

Favorite 2: BAND! Luke had his band concert on Tuesday night and it was great! High school students can really play! They’ve been working hard for the whole semeter and it came together beautifully!

Favorite 3: SWIM! I shared our weekend on Monday, but swim is still a favorite! The boys had a big meet last weekend and did so well. They had fun with friends at the pool and hanging out when they weren’t swimming. I had fun with their friends’ moms and dads all weekend, too!

Cheering from the bleachers 🤩

Favorite 4: NAIL POLISH! I had a gift card to Olive & June and took advantage of their Black Friday sale. I had a very happy mail day when they all arrived. I am excited to try their quick dry polish. I love the long-lasting polishes and am looking forward to painting my nails tonight.

Favorite 5: J.CREW FACTORY! I dashed into the J.Crew Factory store last week and picked up a few tops that caught my eye online. I was so comfy this week in both tops. I wasn’t sure about the puff shoulder on the ivory top, but it isn’t too puffy. The plaid shirt has darts that help it stay tucked in all day long. Perfection! My red cardigan is another favorite! My mom ordered it online, but it didn’t work so she passed them on. This cardigan has been a holiday staple!

Hello Monday!

I need to get my present buying and wrapping self in gear tonight and this weekend. Christmas will be here before we know it. I am getting together with some girlfriends on Saturday night and I am really looking forward to it. We are supposed to get snow on Sunday morning adn I am looking forward to that, too. Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!

Love the J Crew tops and that fun red sweater! It’s a great shade of red! I don’t remember my parents having events every night in December, but in 2025 there is no blank space. Whew. All fun, but its a lot! Have a great weekend!

Book fair is the BEST!! I remember loving getting to pick out books for the kiddos and many time for family members too, all the while knowing I was helping the school out too. Your clothing finds are great – nice to have something current and festive to put on in December 🙂
