Hello Monday – 11/17/25

Happy Monday! I’m starting the week with Holly and all of you! I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

Before I get to our weekend fun, I wanted to share a link with you. I got a bunch of comments about my outfit when I met Jamie Brenner and Alison Hammer. Parts of it are coming in and out of stock so keep checking back.

The cardigan is from Walmart and there is a matching skirt. I love it together and apart. The blouse is also from Walmart and I cut the sleeve/ruffles off because I only plan to wear it under cardigans and sweaters. The top, cardigan, and skirt are going in and out of stock, so keep checking back. The jeans are Amazon and the clogs are Madden girl.

This was a weekend of sports for our family. Overall, it was pretty great, too! I only took two pictures and they are almost exactly the same. Oops!

Friday started off with Luke at a swimming time trials and then hustling to the first game of his soccer tournament. I ended up not going to swim because they did it as part of practice, but Jeff said he swam pretty well. His team tied the soccer game but played really well.

Go Luke!

Saturday was a bit of a slower start. Jeff took Luke to his soccer game. He played really well and they won! I took Jack to his swim meet in the afternoon and he swam really well! We all met at a football game Saturday night. The boys’ school was playing in the league championship against Jack and Jeff’s old school. It was a great game, but our school lost. They played so well and should still be proud!

On Sunday morning I got to set my alarm 15 minutes later than I do on a school day. We were out the door by 6:30 am to get to Luke’s soccer game. His team lost 1-0 but it was a great game and they played really well. They didn’t make it to the championship, but should be proud of how they played. With some boys playing high school soccer this fall, they’ve only had four practices together this year. I came home and got ready for an afternoon of swimming. Jack swam well on Sunday and it was fun to catch up with some swim moms. The meet was running ahead of schedule (whoa!) so we got home around 5:30 instead of 6 or 6:30 like I thought we might.

Go Luke!

It was just in time for a dinner together, some blog work, a little football, a little Hallmark, and some reading before bed. If you blogged today, don’t forget to link up with us below. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

What a great idea to cut off the sleeves if you want to only wear something under other things – I’m going to keep this in the back of my mind!
Love how busy your boys are and how much you can be there to cheer :). Such a fun time for all of you.
