Happy Friday! Happy Halloween! Five blogging days in a row! I did it! Woohoo!!
I am sharing a favorite through the years with you today. Get comfy, there are a lot of pictures here and most of them are so cute!

I decided to share our Halloween costumes here because they are always a favorite! Here we go…
2009 – Baby Jack wore all the costumes. He was the lobster. He was the tiger. He was a sweet little pumpkin.

2010 – Jack was a puppy. Looking back it’s a pretty funny costume because he does not like dogs!

2011 – Baby Luke was a sweet lobster and a pumpkin. Jack picked Cat in the Hat and my friend Barb helped me make the costume.

2012 – Jack was a UPS man and we turned the wagon into a UPS truck. Luke was Mickey Mouse.

2013 – The year of the super heroes and muscles! Luke was Spiderman and Jack was Captain America.

2014 – Jack was Leonardo and Luke was Batman. Jeff and I were Thing 1 and Thing 2 and I can’t find the picture.

2015 – Jeff and I were Thing 1 and Thing 2 again. Jack was an Orioles player and Luke was Leonardo.

2016 – We were just back from our Disney trip so we kept with the theme! Luke was Nemo and Jack was Darth Vader!

2017 – Jack was Messi and Luke was Optimus Prime. Jeff and I dressed up with friends and were Jessie and Slater from Saved by the Bell.

2018 – Rocking jerseys! Jack was Antonio Brown from the Steelers and Luke was Messi. Jeff and I were lifeguards.

2019 – More athletes for us this year. Jack was Minkah Fitzpatrick, Luke was a Juventus player, and their buddy was Patrick Mahomes. Jeff and I were Waldo and Wenda.

2020 – Jack was a sumo wrestler and Luke was a homemade house. The house didn’t make it all the whole way through trick-or-treating but he loved it!

2021 – Luke was a soccer player. Jack was a minion and his friend was Gru.

2022 – Jack and Luke dressed up with the neighbors with a Peanuts theme. Jack was Linus and Luke was Charlie Brown’s ghost costume. Jeff and I were Gru and the minion for a Halloween party.

2023 – Jack was a minion and Luke was a sumo wrestler. This was an easy costume year. Everyone picked from the costume bin!

2024 – This was the year of the costume change! Luke was a blowup kid riding a turkey and changed into Waldo. Jack was Perry the Platypus and changed into backwards jersey guys with his friend (Kris Kros maybe). My friend Amy and I were the guys from New Zealand that stomp/danced to fabulous music on social media.

2025 – The boys haven’t dressed up yet, but Jeff and I did. Jeff was a golfer and I was his caddie.

That was fun! You can tell when the boys figured out that I would buy them any jersey they wanted if they said that was who they wanted to dress up as for Halloween. I was happy to buy them because they got a lot more wear than a regular Halloween costume would get. Do you keep a bin of Halloween costumes? I am always glad I do. It comes in handy for spirit weeks, theme events, and when kids change their mind about their costume at the very last minute. We’ve had quite a few re-wears. Jack and Luke have spirit week at school this week and the minion and the platypus made an appearance.

Happy Halloween and cute walk down memory lane!
We were on the same page today! Love all of the throwback pics of the kids but loving the lifeguard costumes!! 🙂
These are all so fun to see! We kept a dress up bin when the boys were younger and they really did wear the heck of out their costumes that way but we got rid of it around middle school age.
Aww! What fab costumes! The kids were just adorable! I love the superhero one’s.
Love seeing the costumes through the years. So many cute ones— and you and Jeff have some great ones!!
