Happy Monday! I’m starting the week with Holly and all of you! I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

I’m happy to share some good things that have happened since last Monday.
Luke had two soccer games this week. They won one and lost one. He played a lot in the win and played really well! He played really well in the second game, too. Their last game is today and I’m sad to see the season end.

Jack got to see some friends from his school last year. The two schools were playing in a water polo game and it was intense. His current school won, but it was great to see all of his friends!
Jeff and I went to the annual fundraiser at the boys’ and Jeff’s school on Friday night. It was great to meet some new people and put faces with names. We had a wonderful time, even though we didn’t win any raffles.

Saturday was Homecoming for Jack and Luke. Luke didn’t want to meet up with anyone before or after, but he had the best time at the dance. He hopped in the car afterwards with a big smile and was telling us all about how high school dances work. It was a perfect night for him!

Jack on the other hand had two pre-parties and an after party on his agenda. He hung out with some friends in the afternoon, then went to a big get together, and spent the night at a friends’ house afterwards.

Jeff and I went to a friends’ Halloween party while the boys were at the dance. I wore the caddie bib from Jack’s nationals golf tournaments. Jeff had me hold his drink the whole time we were there because that is the duty of a caddie. Ha!

Sunday was a great at home day. Luke went to the final Sunday swim practice. I went for a great walk in the sunshine. Jeff got some stuff done around the house. Jack and Luke played football and Fortnite with the neighbors. I was so happy to have chili on our meal plan because it was easy and delicious!
It seems that my Monday only blogging pattern continued last week. I am not sure what I’ve been doing differently but our evenings are disappearing faster than I can sit down to type something. However, this is the last week of the month which is a big blogging week. I am hoping to be here tomorrow with what I’ve been reading, Wednesday with What’s Up Wednesday and/or the Hodgepodge, Thursday for Monthly Musings, and Friday for Halloween Favorites. I’m actually a little overwhelmed looking at that agenda, but here goes nothing…
I think our week will be pretty easy. Luke has his last soccer game today and Jack has his last oglf practice today. I think we only have swim practice for the rest of the week. If you blogged today, be sure to link up with us below. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

I totally understand with the busy schedules. I don’t understand where the time goes myself. It looks like you guys had a great weekend!
Yay for Homecoming fun. Your boys look so nice! The Halloween costume is easy and fun. I hope you have a great week.
Love your fundraiser dress and Halloween costume!
The boys looks handsome! Hope they both had a blast. Love your costumes too 🙂
Sounds like both boys had a lot of fun at Homecoming! Good luck with your blogging schedule this week.
Your boys look so handsome all dressed up. My nephew played water polo in high school. The coach would leave him in longer than any other player because he never seemed to run out of steam. It was a great sport for him! I said in my post today how busy October has been. I don’t remember it being that way in the past but the last two weeks of the month are so full. Have a nice week!
Somehow we always think that as our kids get older, we will have more time. Don’t worry about the blogging – we’ll be here for whenever and whatever you post. 🙂
