Hi! It’s Fashion Files Thursday so I am back sharing what I’ve been wearing. I have been on a mission to wear what I have, but only if I love it! Everything in my closet is on it’s last chance. If something doesn’t feel super when I put it on or wear it all day, off to the donate or consign pile. Documenting my outfits each day is helping me make sure I am wearing more of what’s in my closet. Let’s see what I’ve been wearing.

I have been wearing a lot of skorts these days. We had picture day last Friday which was a little tricky. It was Friday so I didn’t want to dress up too much, but it was picture day and it’s October and still warm. Here’s what I went with:

I went way back in the archives for Jeff’s birthday dinner. I love this Lilly print!

When the calendar says fall, but the weather is hanging on to summer, I like to pair a cardigan with my dress for a cool morning and a hot afternoon.

Athletic type dresses are always a win for me to wear to school. They are comfy and look professional enough for an elementary school.

I’m loving longer dresses right now, too!

That’s what I’ve been wearing this school year. What was your favorite? Any tips of ways to mix it up or try something new? Hopefully I’ll be back tomorrow with my favorites from the week. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

You have so many pretty dresses! I do find this time of year a bit tricky with the mornings being so cool and the afternoons getting so hot still.
I love your style- so fashionable and yet looks so comfy at the same time- perfect style for being in school all day!
My fave is the gingham dress! I have moved all the summery prints and fabrics out of my closet and that has helped a lot!
I love the gingham, too. I am not ready to move my summer prints out yet. I actually don’t think I have many things that aren’t summer colors. Ha!
My favorite is the gingham dress but I really like how you are making athletic dresses work for school too.

Thanks! I never know what my day is going to include, so the athletic dresses are a good fit!
The last four dresses are stylish. The short numbers not so much, they look more like elementary school girl attire.
