Happy Friday! While I love a Friday, I am not so excited to see this one. This Friday means we are one week closer to the end of our summer break. Yikes! I have some favorites for you, so let’s get to it!

Favorite 1: FAMILY!! I have had dinner with my parents more in the last week than I have in a long time and it was wonderful! My sister, brother-in-law, and niece were in town and staying at my parents’ house. I went almost every night for dinner and spent time with all of them. It was so nice to talk and hangout. We were also together during the day on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. So there was a lot of good family time to be had!

Favorite 2: BOOKS!! I finished a book on Wednesday afternoon. I read at the pool on Thursday afternoon. I have been reading in the morning when I wake up and as I fall asleep at night. It has been a great week of reading.

Favorite 3: SUNSHINE! We had a sunny afternoon on Thursday and it was wonderful! I took advantage of the weather and hung at the pool. I was surprised that it wasn’t more crowded but that’s ok by me. I am looking forward to more pool time today and this weekend with hot and sunny weather.

Favorite 4: THIS OUTFIT! Apparently this outfit was a favorite this week. I wore the Lilly Finn top and running shorts three times this week. Long sleeve shirts and shorts has long been one of my favorite things to wear and it was on repeat this week.

Favorite 5: SPORTS!! Luke has been in a soccer camp each morning this week. Jack’s golf course is very close to Luke’s camp so he’s been going to the golf course while Luke’s at camp. It’s been a good start to the day when both boys have done something they love before noon.

Favorite 6: DCC! I’ve been watching season two of America’s Sweethearts on Netflix this week. I love this show. I’ve been watching on and off for years and I cannot get enough.

Favorite 7: BANANAS! We went to the Savannah Bananas game on Saturday night. It was so much fun! Jeff’s brother and his son came with us and we all had a blast! The baseball is quick and so entertaining. We got to see two former Orioles players bat for the Bananas, too.

Favorite 8: WALKS! Luke joined me for a walk this week and it was so nice. We didn’t walk too fast and we just talked the whole time. I got a heavier weighted vest for prime days and have been adjusting to the 16 pounder. It’s definitely heavy but I like my walks with it.

We have a pretty easy weekend ahead of us, but next week is going to be busy. I am going to use the weekend to relax and get ready for the week ahead of us. We will surely have some pool time, some working on the room switch time, and some prep time. Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!
