Let’s Look – 6/11/25

Happy Wednesday! This is one of my favorite linkups of the month because I am so curious about how other people do things. I try to find great systems for organizing, planning, and creating routines but I know there is always room for improvement.

This month we are sharing our travel bucket lists. My true travel bucket list is very short: EVERYWHERE!! I love traveling and visiting new places. That doesn’t make a very exciting blog post, so here are a few specific places I want to go.

ICELAND – I was hoping to go to Iceland in 2020 for my 40th birthday, but we all know how traveling in 2020 went. Womp, womp.

THE OLYMPICS – I would love to go any Olympic event! I am hoping to figure out a way to go in 2028 in LA.

ENGLAND – I would love to go to England. I’d like to explore the cities and the countryside. I enjoy quite a few books set in England and think I would love the actual place, too.

NATIONAL PARKS – I would love to visit the big Nationals Parks out west – Yellowstone, Yosemite, Redwoods, Zion, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, etc.

SAFARI – I would love to go on an African safari. I think those animals are so majestic and I’d love to see them in the natural habitat.

NANTUCKET – I have read so many books that take place on Nantucket (Elin, Nancy, Doreen, Michelle Gable) that I feel like I have been there. But, I haven’t and I’d love to go!

GERMAN CHRISTMAS MARKETS – I think the German Christmas markets look so fun and I would love to go!

NASHVILLE – I think Nashville would be a fun couples trip or girls weekend.

HAWAII – I would love to spend a few weeks in Hawaii exploring all of the islands!

I thought about adding pictures, but realized I can’t. I’ve never been to these places so I don’t have any pictures. Ha! I decided to only include places I’ve never been. There are a few places I would like to return to with Jeff, the boys, or our extended family (Alaska, Bermuda, Aruba). I am sure I missed a few places, but like I said above, I want to go everywhere! I can’t wait to see everyone else’s answers. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

I think I would choose to visit the same places as you, well apart from England as I live here but I would switch that for the US. hehehe
When the Olympics were held here in the UK all the events were too far away to visit with young kids but we saw the Olympic flame when it was paraded down our high street.

Nantucket is on my list too!
Sooo many wonderful National parks I’d love to see too. We went to Grand Canyon a few years ago and that was really neat…but I also know we could have done so much more there.

Ha! Everywhere is my list too and I want to go back to nearly all the places I’ve already been as well! I always struggle with finding that balance between visiting old favorites and adding something new into the mix.

I have been to several of these places, and none of them disappoint! I hope you can continue to check off new destinations on your list.
