Hello Monday – 6/9/25

Happy Monday! I’m starting the week with Holly and all of you! I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

I am sharing EIGHT GREAT things from our weekend today. This is our last school night weekend but it sure didn’t feel like it!

1-We had a fundraiser called “Tat-a-Teacher” at school on Friday. Students/families bought tattoos for teachers to wear. They could buy small, medium, or large tattoos. Thank goodness we got to pick our tattoos and put them on ourselves. I had 17 tattoos all over my arms all day!

2-Luke had the 8th grade dance on Friday night. He had a few friends over before to hang out. They all looked so nice and were excited to get to the dance.

There was a professional photographer there taking pictures as they walked up the red carpet and while they were dancing. He got a few good ones of Luke!

3-I slept until almost 8 o’clock on Saturday and Sunday. That is unheard of around here, but I guess I needed it. I woke up to rain so we had a cozy, chill morning at home.

4-Jack headed to the golf course when the sun came out on Saturday and when I picked him up, he drove home. I am getting in the habit of being the passenger this summer!

5-We had lots of pool time with friends. Luke went to a friend’s house to play in the pool when the sun came out on Saturday and then we went to our pool in the evening and some friends were there, too. Jack went to a friend’s house on Saturday night and hung at her pool.

Summer Sarah showed up on Saturday evening at the pool. I said we were staying for one hour so we could come home for dinner. Well, almost three hours later I was scrambling some eggs at 8:45 pm for a light but filling dinner. No shame here. I love Summer Sarah! She is begging to come back and I know she’ll be here soon!

6-I spent a lot of time right here this weekend. I had a to do list a mile long and I needed to get caught up on life. I was super productive and it felt good to get it done!

7-I met my friend Jodi to walk on Sunday midday. It was a great couple of miles catching up and solving the problems of the world in our weighted vests.

8-Jeff had a reception at school on Saturday night and brought home a ton of leftover food. I didn’t make lunch or dinner on Sunday because we enjoyed appetizers throughout the day. Summer Sarah loved that!

Did you know???

I am as ready for this week as I can be. I have a grocery pick up scheduled for this afternoon and a solid meal plan. We have a busy schedule with a lot of swimming between the boys swimming at their club team, swimming with our summer team, Jack coaching our summer team, and me coaching our summer team. Luke has playday and promotion this week. Jack has his first golf tournament of the summer this week. So many good things happening! If you blogged today, please link up with us below. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!
