Friday Favorites – 5/30/25

Happy Friday! It feels like this week flew by! I can’t believe we only have two weeks of school left and at the same time I can’t believe we still have two weeks of school left. I have a few favorites for you today, so let’s get to it!

Linking up with Erika and Andrea

Favorite 1: BOOKS!! All the books! I shared my Summer Beach Reads last week. I am so excited to read them! I started reading One Golden Summer and I love it! I don’t usually share my opinions before I finish, but this is a good one.

Favorite 2: BAND! Luke plays percussion and played in two concerts this week. One night he played with the orchestra an d next night he played with the band. He has so much fun playing and does a great job! We had all the grandparents there on the band night. Jack was there too, but he had gone out to the car when we took the picture.

Favorite 3: SWIMMING!! I had my first official coaching duties this week. We had our parent meeting and the swim test for our new 8 & under swimmers. Jack came and helped with the swim tests and did a great job. It’s so fun to watch him work with the swimmers.

Favorite 4: FLOWERS! I went to Trader Joe’s on Monday because it is peony season. I got a mixed bunch of pink and white and they smell so good! I love having them on my counter!

Favorite 5: CROCS! I cannot believe I am typing this, but I am loving my Crocs sandals. I have two different pairs and they both passed my “teacher on my old lady feet all day” test. I have the Miami and the Getaway sandals.

Favorite 6: POOL! The pool opened last weekend and we have been there a few times. I ended up pulling an all-dayer on Sunday and it was so fun. I am looking forward to more pool time in the coming weeks. I love all things pool – the relaxation, my pool friends, the view!

Hello Tuesday
Reading Lately
Monthly Musings

I am looking forward to this weekend. I am going to an author event with my mom on Saturday and we don’t have any Sunday plans. I suspect we’ll be at the pool for a good part of the day. I do need to figure when I am going to do a grocery pickup because we aren’t quite ready for Summer Sarah. Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!
