Happy Friday! Oooooo! Happy first Friday of May! That just sounds so close to summer! The days were long this week, but Friday came pretty quickly! I am so happy it did! Let’s get to the favorites…
Favorite 1: UNDEFEATED!! Jack’s golf team won their final regular season match last night and went 10-0! It has been so fun to watch them play and have fun. Playoffs start next week, so there is still work to be done.
Favorite 2: SUNSHINE!! Holy moly! The weather this week has been absolutely perfect! It’s been sunny and warm all day, every day. I am loving it! Perfect for walking, running, reading, and hanging out. I even snuck in a visit to check on the pool. It’s not ready yet, but it will be soon!
Favorite 3: DRESS WILD! As part of our school fun run incentives, the students earned a day where the teachers dress wild. We could do any kind of wild – wild animal, costume, wacky tacky, wigs, etc. I decided to dress as a lifeguard and teach from a pool all day. It was so fun to blow my whistle for adult swim and to remind people to walk.
Favorite 4: BOOKS!! I have been reading up a storm lately. I got a big book order in at my school library. I have checked out a bunch of new picture books from our public library. I have been reading middle grade novels and graphic novels any chance I get. All of these new to me books have definitely been a favorite!

What’s Up Wednesday
The calendar doesn’t look too busy this weekend, but I think we will fill our days. We have a community clean up day at the pool on Saturday. Luke has a soccer and lacrosse game on Sunday. I am sure Jack will get to the golf course at least once if the weather cooperates. I’m going to read as much as I can! Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!

Oh that wacky teacher day sounds like so much fun! I’ve been seeing that book in a few places this week and I really must pick it up soon. I wish I had thought to find it and pack it for my trip to Louisville!
