Friday Favorites – 4/11/25

Happy Friday! This has been a good week and I am ready for the weekend! I am excited to celebrate one of my dearest friends today. In addition to that celebration, I have some favorites for you this week. Let’s get to it!

Linking up with Erika and Andrea

Favorite 1: SWEATER!! I am not so happy to say that a sweater is a favorite on April 11th, but it’s been chilly around here and I needed a sweater. This cardigan is so soft, warm but not bulky, and a lovely pink for spring!

Favorite 2: MASTERS!! I am always excited for the Masters. I’ve never been, but I always enter the lottery. Maybe one year! My sister went last year with her husband and brought me this cute zip up. I ordered these fun cups from Cups on Cochran after Jen mentioned them. They are so cute!

Favorite 3: SALAD! I love this chopped kale salad. It’s a little tricky to take a small portion for lunch because the salad dressing gets messy. I was so excited to see these listed when I did grocery pickup last week. They are a perfect big salad to take for lunch!

Favorite 4: LILLY! This Lilly quote popped up in my facebook memories this week and I love it. There are a few Lilly quotes that inspire me and this is one of them. I will always be a Lilly girl!

Favorite 5: BOOKS! I am getting so excited for books coming out in the spring and summer! I have a list of books on hold on my library’s website and on Libby. While I am waiting for new books to be released, I have been reading through my kindle. Right now I am reading The Lost Ticket and enjoying it! I’ve had it on my kindle for quite a while, but never picked it up.

Hello Monday

I am not sure what our weekend will bring. One of my favorite bands is coming to town, but I don’t have anyone to go with. I might go by myself, but I’m not sure. We will definitely have the Masters on all weekend. It looks chilly and rainy on Saturday, but I am hoping to see the sun on Sunday. Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!

That is a cute sweater; but I’m right there with you on wishing I didn’t need sweaters this time of year. I have a huge list of books on hold at the library and sort of gave up hope on them ever coming in so I checked out 6 books on Monday. Not surprising a bunch of the books on hold came in this week so now I’ve got to buckle down and get reading!

We’ve had a bit of up and down temps lately. I’ve been in shorts two or three days and a sweatshirt yesterday. I guess this is true spring weather, but once you get those warm days you just want summer. We enjoy watching the Masters too. I’ve never been but am ever hopeful. We went to the Barclays one year and it was so much fun. Have a great weekend!

That cardigan is pretty, perfect for spring!
I love all the different things in that salad although I don’t think I have ever had one with Brussels Sprouts in before.
