Happy Friday! Oh my goodness, I am so glad it is Friday! As I write this on Thursday evening, I am already in my pjs. I have some favorites to share with you, so let’s get to it!

Favorite 1: BIRTHDAYS! I had a great birthday on Monday. It was lovely to celebrate with dinner on Sunday and at school and home on Monday. I heard from so many friends and family that I don’t always talk or text with, so that was fun! Here we go 44!

Favorite 2: DINNER! A friend shared this recipe over the summer and I finally got around to making it and it was delicious! I prepared all of the ingredients and we all added what we wanted to our dinner bowls. I used everything in my bowl. I had it hot for dinner and then cold for lunch the next two days. It will definitely become a regular part of our dinner rotation.

Favorite 3: BEDDING!! Our comforter was starting to rip so I decided it was time to replace it. I tried to find a navy one that I liked to keep using our old shams, but just couldn’t find something I loved. I decided to abandon that and use the pictures above our bed as inspiration because I love them. I found this one and I love how bright it is. We are already sleeping well with it on our bed.

Favorite 4: SWIGS!! I have a very hard time with self-control when it comes to Swig tumblers. I have been showing great restraint with the super adorable fall and Halloween designs. You can imagine how excited I was when my mother-in-law brought me this one for my birthday! As we were pulling into the garage yesterday, Jack pointed out that it glows in the dark, too!

Favorite 5: LILLY! This is one of my favorite times of year for Lilly. It is still warm so I have a bunch of Lilly options. I can layer cardigans over my favorite Lilly pieces. The items I ordered in the Lilly sale are arriving. Could it get any better than that? I don’t think so!

Well, I finally did it! I wrote all the blog posts I planned to write in a week. Hooray! I am hoping that means we are finding our groove for the fall. We have a pretty good weekend ahead of us. On Saturday, Luke has a soccer game and both boys are volunteering at church. Sunday looks like a blank square on my calendar and I am hoping to preserve that. I keep thinking about the quote that says “A Sunday well spent brings a week of content”. In my mind, I am adding “and calm” to the end of it but I know that there is no guarantee for a calm week. Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!
