Happy Monday! I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

We had a busy weekend, so this post is pretty short. Luke had a lacrosse tournament on Saturday. He did a great job and played with a long stick for the first time in a game. He loved it!

We stopped by the pool to water the planters since our predicted rainy day turned to beautiful sunshine!

On Sunday morning, I ran a bunch of errands and did as much as I could to get us ready for the week. Then Luke and I headed to Washington, DC for a soccer game. His team didn’t win but he played well.

Jack and Jeff headed to a golf tournament. Jack played really well. It was the most consistent round he’s played all season. Jack came in 3rd but they didn’t stick around to get his medal.

Then we all met at my parents’ house for our Mother’s Day celebration. We had the most delicious crabs with ice cream for dessert. It was perfect! The great things about crabs for dinner is no one has to be in the kitchen getting them ready and we can just talk and relax. Now, don’t get me wrong, my mom also made a delicious meal to go with the crabs – deviled eggs, salad, burgers, and corn – but that can be done ahead of time.

It was fun to spend some time with my mom and dad. Jeff and I just had a calendar meeting and I am telling myself that lie I often do – after this week, things will calm down a bit. Haha, they won’t but it’s worth a shot. The weather looks AMAZING this week and I am going to try to spend as much time outside as I can. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

Your time with your parents sounded like a blast!

Looks like a great weekend! The meal sounds delish. I know what you mean – even this past weekend I said we weren’t “that busy” but that’s just relatively speaking compared to other weekends haha
Thanks for hosting Sarah and Holly!
