Happy Wednesday! It’s the last Wednesday of the month so I am sharing what we’ve been up to. Let’s get to it!
WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK…

WHAT I’M LOVING…
I recently discovered Gray Co. bracelets and I love them! I have always loved a bracelet stack and these are so fun. I started with this stack that was perfect for Easter.

Then I saw this red, white, and blue stack and couldn’t resist. I love all things red, white, and blue and all of my kids’ teams are some combination of red, white, and blue.

This Lilly girl loves pink and these bracelets are so pretty.

I’ve also been mixing and matching the bracelets. Some days I wear a few from the set and other days I go for the whole group.

I am working on showing some restraint, but the Gray Co. Instagram account is making it pretty hard! There is a rainbow stack that I love and the stack of the week (oranges and pink) is calling my name.
I got to see my college roommate Amy and her son at the beginning of the month.

We made a day in DC before meeting up with Amy. I am loving a day trip and need to remember that we have so many great experiences near us.

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO…
I finally got to watch Jack play golf last weekend!

Luke’s been playing soccer and lacrosse as much as he can!

We celebrated both boys’ birthdays.

We got dressed up and celebrated Easter.

We mulched and mulched earlier this month.

The weather was so warm and sunny so I’ve been reading outside a lot lately.

Jeff and I had our first big summer planning meeting. There are still a few things up in the air, but we have a good idea of what this summer could look like.
WHAT I’M DREADING…
The weather looks pretty chilly or rainy for the next week. We were spoiled by the unseasonably warm and sunny weather earlier this month. I enjoyed being warm outside and am not looking forward to chilly weather again.
WHAT I’M WORKING ON…
I have been diligent about eating from the freezers this month. See our weekend plans to find out why.
I am scheduling an appointment for our garage door. I am hoping the rule of three holds true here – dishwasher replaced, washing machine replaced, garage door spring replaced – because enough is enough.
WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT AND WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH…
MAY! May is a crazy busy month but I am looking forward to it.
We are going to see Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden!

I am going to see my sister, her husband, and my niece in May!

One of my nieces is making her first holy communion in May and we are celebrating her!
We have a few fun things going on at school!
Mother’s Day! We’ll celebrate the moms and plant my hanging baskets!
WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING…
I finally finished the recent season of Virgin River. What a cliffhanger at the end!
Jeff and I are still occasionally watching Shrinking. It’s good, we just don’t watch much tv alone.
I just started the most recent season of Emily in Paris.
I have been reading so many children’s books! I am on a committee to pick the books for our Battle of the Books next year. We pick 10 books from a list of 10 novels and 10 graphic novels. My meeting is May 17th.
I’ve read 3 of 10 novels

and 4 of 10 graphic novels.

I’ve also read 13 of the 15 picture books that are nominated for our state’s Black-Eyed Susan book award for next year.
I haven’t been reading many adult books lately, but I am reading a book that comes out soon and I’m loving it!

I feel like NYC keeps coming back to me in books and experiences this year (2 trips, 1 more planned, 2 books read and this one)!

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO…
I have been listening to The Wheeland Brothers a lot lately. I was hoping to get to their concert on Saturday night but it isn’t going to work out. I love their chill beachy vibe!
I’ve also been listening to my regular podcasts. My favorite podcasts are two people having a conversation about a topic that interests me. I recently found Keeping Up with the Windsors and I love it. It is a fun weekly royal update.
WHAT I’M WEARING…
I got to wear all the spring clothes because the weather was great! It is perfect for Lilly, Vineyard Vines, Amazon essentials basics, and sandals!

WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND…
The weather looks pretty rainy all weekend. Luke is supposed to have two lacrosse games and one soccer game. Jack has a golf tournament, too. Who knows what we’ll actually do.
I am heading out to the farm on Saturday morning to pick up our portion of a cow. One of my high school classmates has a farm and sells beef by the quarter cow each spring. This Saturday is our pickup day.
NEW AMAZON / ONLINE PURCHASE…
I love this dress and ordered it in a few colors. Unfortunately, I sent my order to our townhouse. We haven’t lived there in almost 11 years!! I used to send things there all the time, but I haven’t done it in a long time. The last time I did it we ended up at the post office and the boys were over it!

It has been so long since we’ve lived there that the current owners rejected the package and Old Navy contacted me about it. Sigh… I reordered my dresses and they got here last night. I love them! Now time for that warm weather to come on back!

I can’t wait to read what you’ve been up to. I’ll be back tomorrow for Monthly Musings. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

We are headed back to NYC tomorrow and I can’t wait- such an exciting city! Can’t wait to read all about your summer plans. That dress is adorable-great find 🙂
I’ve definitely got to check out this Windsors podcast!
I love those dresses! And I need to work on some more freezer meals. Our freezers are way too full lately.
Also I love Fiona Davis so will have to check out that novel and I really like your bracelet stacks. Now I’m done commenting 🙂
Your bracelets are so cute and perfect for spring and summer! We bought a 1/4 cow a few years ago and we just loved it; sadly we don’t have a contact to do that again.
What a great month. The townhouse story is funny! You have so many awesome things to see and do so close to you. I meant to comment the other day….you influenced me and I went to Walmart for that dress. Can’t wait to wear it.
