Happy Wednesday! It’s the last Wednesday of the month so I am sharing what we’ve been up to. Let’s get to it!
WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK…

I shared our meal plan for the week on Monday because I feel like I am stuck in a rut. There were so many great ideas in the comments. Thank you for sharing!! If you didn’t share Monday, head over there or add some great ideas in the comments today. Thank you!
WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT…
We haven’t had any snow this winter and I’m reminiscing about a snow day or two. Actually, 7 years ago this week, we had a giant blizzard and were out of school for a week. It was so fun!

WHAT I’M LOVING…
The sunshine! We haven’t had a ton of sun, but that makes every minute so good. The boys have been playing outside a ton. The sunrises have been gorgeous. The sun is staying up a little later each day and that is so so good!

The sunshine has been helpful in getting my 23 minutes outside a day. I am still working on preplanning outside time so I don’t miss it on busy days. I do love tracking it because I am feel better on days I get outside.

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO…
Cheering each other on! This month, Jeff and I have been driving all over cheering on Jack and Luke in swim meets, basketball games, soccer, and band concerts. It’s been so fun and we are so proud of them!

I had a super fun girls weekend in Seven Springs, Pennsylvania and saw some gorgeous snow.

WHAT I’M DREADING…
Another day of cold rain! Earlier in the week, the weather apps were teasing snow or ice today. It looks like we are going to end up with some cold rain instead. I’m still hoping for a little snow, but it’s not looking good.
WHAT I’M WORKING ON…
The very beginning of our summer plans. I am starting to look at camps, vacations, day trips, and everything else that goes into our summer. I love the planning stage because the possibilities are endless!
WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT…
Author events. We hosted the amazing Emma Straub at school this month and I have a few more author events on my calendar this spring.

WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING…
I haven’t been watching much but as I’m typing this America’s Got Talent All Stars came on. This show is so fun!
I have been reading. I just finished Finlay Donovan is Killing It and it was great. I am looking forward to reading the next two in the series. I recently made a list of all the winter books on my kindle and that’s what I am reading right now. A Week in Winter by Maeve Binchy is one of the few books I haven’t read by her. I’m enjoying it.

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO…
I’m loving the Spotify playlist Chillin’ on a Dirt Road. It’s feel good country music and I love listening to it when I’m walking, cooking, or just getting things done around the house.
WHAT I’M WEARING…
I started sharing what I’ve been wearing on Thursdays and I love it. About a year ago, I cleaned out my closet hard. From then on, I am only keeping the things that feel wonderful. Documenting my outfits is encouraging me to wear more of what I have and it is so fun! On Monday I wore a sweater that I am pretty sure is close to 20 years old. It still fits and is full of memories with my grandparents.

I also decided to move all my sweaters out of our wardrobe and on to the guest room bed. Sweaters will only be invited back into the wardrobe when I wear them. It’s going pretty well so far this week.
WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND…
We have a pretty low key for us weekend. Jack has two basketball games, Luke has swim and lacrosse practice. Who know’s what I’ll get into with so much time at home. Only time will tell… Hah!
WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH…
I am looking forward to enjoying our slightly calmer schedule next month. I am going to block out some time that the four of us can spend together, either relaxing at home or doing something fun.
My dad has been working so hard building a room for a golf simulator and it should be ready next month. The guys are very excited for it and so am I! Maybe this will be the year I become a better golfer!

FAVORITE AMAZON PURCHASE…
Hands down this is my new favorite purchase!! I love “good ice” and our freezer ice maker ice just isn’t my favorite. In a perfect world, I would have one of those nugget ice makers but I don’t have anywhere that I want to put it. I found these ice trays on a lightening deal and I love them. It’s a little bit of a pain to make the ice, but I only use it on the weekends right now. We have a “good ice” maker at school and I use that during the week.

That’s what we’ve been up to this month. I can’t wait to see what everyone else has been doing. Again, please share any dinner ideas in the comments. I can’t wait to meal plan for next week with your help! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

I keep hoping for a snow day too. It’s on the radar for tomorrow but I don’t think it will amount to anything now. Mostly rain. I love your black sweater and Lilly pants! That’s a good idea about your sweaters. I marked my calendar for end of Feb, to go through what I haven’t worn recently.
That’s smart to pick a date and evaluate clothes.
You can have some of our snow- ha! 😉 That ice maker looks great! Love your wardrobe efforts- you are inspiring me to purge!
We do love our nugget ice but man that ice maker takes up TONS of room on our counter. LOL. Those sunrises are just amazing. I just finished the first Finlay book a few weeks ago and I’m part way through the second already. It’s just as funny/cute as the first one.
I’m intrigued by those ice trays! I love how you have tackled your closet, keeping only what you love. Have a wonderful week!
I want an ice maker so much. I keep resisting but one of these days… And I’m heading off to read your Monday meal plan now. I need some new ideas!
